I think its possible for P5, and Zelda to crack 90, although i think its unprobably as P5 is coming to a bigger audience, with a lot of these outlets probably more skeptical of JRPG's than ever. And Zelda is also an open world game with towers, so falling into the same trap may be a problem as well, of course on the other hand its Zelda and Nintendo so nobody would dare give it a bad score by default.

This is the issue, Guerilla is underrated and under appreciated. How are they questionable? SF was a rushed launch game.

Because killzone has never been that great and has also consistently been overshadowed by other FPSs.

Debatable, and being overshadowed by other FPS is pretty irrelevant. Halo is overshadowed by BF1, Destiny and COD too.

I'll be surprise if it doesn't happen by then, but Mario Odyssey is going to for sure. I'm betting it will be the highest reviewed game of the year.

I think it's possible. The thing with Mario is that there aren't many big-budget games in its genre to compare against or be tired from (a big hurdle facing open-world games like Horizon and Zelda), and the gameplay is typically so singularly focused on being fun without relying on complex systems that could create their own issues (another hurdle open-world games deal with), which makes the game more accessible. As long as Nintendo's level designers and artists haven't lost their creativity and the larger levels are executed well, it should review well. We'll see what the MC turns out to be, though.

Not that hard to imagine, honestly. Uncharted is a masterpiece of craft but the gameplay isn't really there and the stories aren't that exciting, tbh.

Denuvo... hahaha j/k. Probably factor in some PC only mags and review sites. Its not a very common genre for pc since the 90s. 85%+ is already a very good score for anything, personally I would give it something around that range, 85-90.

PlayStation just winning at everything. so many highly rated games available on the platform. What a stacked first quarter. And finally a western dev joins the fun after the strong start from Japan.

SO FUCKING HAPPY FOR THE PEEPS AT GG. I happen to enjoy the Killzone series, especially part two, the first competitive multiplayer I got into during that generation.

Now it looks like they will be widely regarded and they deserve it.

I was bummed that I couldn't pre order a Switch at launch in order to play BoTW but turns out I'll have time for Horizon.
