Well shit, guess I'll have to buy it.
Killzone 2 has a MC of 91, Killzone 3 84. It's not exactly like they were universally hated games that people should think Horizon had zero chance of being any good. It's kind of debatable.
Halo is better than KZ and has a more sustainable multiplayer, but Halo is irrelevant to this.
Killzone and GG has never had a super solid reputation.
New year + first time PS4 owner = Awesome
I like it.Horizon: One Dawn
With Zelda coming out at the same time, I decided to put this on the back burner. These review scores are making me rethink my decision.
No doubt they are popping champagne corks in Amsterdam. Well deserved.
It's 9 in the morning over here, but i'm guessing they are getting liquored up regardless.

No.Is it possible/likely for this to hit 90+? Because I hear devs get bonuses based on MC scores, it would suck if they miss it by 1 or 2 scores.
Latter. Sample: "Die in a fire, Sony"Spoilers? Or a shit show?
Dat Ars Technica quote:
Killzone 2 has a 91 metacritic and was absolutely one of the best fps's of last gen.
ShadowFall isn't.
The first two are terrible. Third one was ok, ShadowFall is great.

http://www.dailydot.com/parsec/horizon-zero-dawn-review/The open-world sensations of Horizon Zero Dawn are some of the best of the current console generation. Climbing snow-capped mountains and crawling through verdant valleys never fails to be as exciting. This apocalyptic wasteland feels remarkably dynamic, with randomized characters and enemies roaming the world and creating emergent encounters...Though Horizon doesnt represent a revolution in open-world adventures, it borrows heavily from past success stories and elevates the genre to a beautiful new standard.
Fuck me ...I still have not played ff15, last guardian and RE7 and now this?
Where can I find more time?
Slow it down, Sony!!!
Damn, that's some high praise.
Its a lot less dramatic than people expected. Trust me.I've just noticed we are already at page 18

http://www.hobbyconsolas.com/reviews/analisis-horizon-zero-dawn-juego-guerrilla-ps4-89852Horizon: Zero Dawn is Guerrilla's biggest game to date, and not just from a technical standpoint. It's also one hell of an action RPG, thanks to a complex and satisfying combat system. The story and universe are also huge; Aloy's future is already shining on the horizon. A star is born.
Took 17 pages for someone to pull the GTAIV cardSeems like 88 is the sweet spot. Close enough.
Really excited to play this from reading all the reviews.
Yeah, it's far from the endless meltdowns some hand-wringing posters were expecting it to be.
i dont know , watched various gameplays, read bunch opf reviews, but am still not feeling it for some reason :-( ... might be the open-world exhastion or something
Hmmm?Took 17 pages for someone to pull the GTAIV card
