I need one :(
I might trade my GBC and SP and some games for one... is it worth it>?

I don't think you should trade in your GBA games. They look a lot better on the DS.

i had a dead pixel close to the center of the bottom screen. attempted to exchange it at best buy but they were out of stock. ended up getting a refund.

Damn Sony and their shoddy equipment for these dead pixels....oh wait....

Mine had a dead pixel right in the center of the touch screen. Brought it back to a different Walmart that had one in stock, opened it up and made sure the new one had no dead pixels in it. First one I opened did not. :)

I had 2, both on the touch screen. One was red and the other blue, both near the center of the screen. I was a little bummed to find them there. Couldn't return it at the store, would have to wait for second shipment. So I just called Nintendo had it shipped out. No big deal really, they're taking care of it. They sure are doing a great job with this whole problem though. No one else would be attempting to rectify the situation as well as Nintendo is doing right now.

One thing though, I miss my DS. :( Where are you?!?

I have one, in the mid-upper portion of the touch screen. Big, orange, and glaring. I'm having too much fun with the games at the moment to deal with it, but I'll eventually send it to Nintendo for repairs.

top screen. upper right, and it's pink, so i can almost never notice it, but i'll exchange it when the next shipment comes in just for shits & gigles, but it doesn't really bother me being that i don't notice it.

but i could totally see how it could annoy the shit out of some.

Not me.

Both screens are flawless. Although my bottom screen is already insanely dirty.

Nintendo needs to start marketing a special kind of touch-screen-wipe.

None here, but I went out and got one with a friend of mine a couple days ago and his had one.

Also, Rummy Bunnz (who posts here on occasion but probably won't see this thread) has 2, one on each screen.

There is nothing wrong with dead pixels. They add character.

I had two, right up against each other on the top screen. They were stuck red too, so it was pretty glaring. Took it back to walmart the next day, my new DS is perfect :)

Could I have all of your dead pixels so I can create a DS of my own and try to bring them to life? Or you could, you know, just give me the money for a DS. Whichever...

I'm cool.

If you have a pair of Oakleys the bag is brilliant. Otherwise go to sunglasshut or Oakley.com and get one.

I guess I now know why they call you the #1 loser of all time. "They add character", god that's classic. :lol :lol :lol

That said, I don't have any dead pixels on my DS.

I got two DSs from Japan today and I'm irritated as fuck.

- DS no 1: Two dead pixels in the middle of the top screen
- DS no 2: Three dead pixels in the top of the bottom screen, two on the bottom of the top screen

I can't believe the quality control of Nintendo is this bad. In comparison, during the last year, I have seen over a hundred mobile phones with similar resolution displays, but haven't seen a single dead pixel. Not one deal pixel. And my DS has FIVE?? And the other TWO? WTF!?

Oh well. I guess it's as they say, if you pay peanuts you get monkeys. And probably the kids won't mind.

Still, Nintendo are cheap bastards. Respect -100000.
