Agreed. Very very bad

Id take any Bungie halo campaign over 4 or 5. ESPECIALLY 5.If we tally it up bungie has made 5 halo games 343 has made 2.
we'll give bungie 3/5 since some people don't like reach and most people complain about halo 2's ending.
If and a Big ass If we go off of Gaf 343 has a 0/2 If we go off of haloGaf or people who
actually know the story they might give them a 1/2 It's up to you weather it's halo 4 or 5.
I say lets let them make 5 games and then we look back and see.
Funny, 5 has my favorite campaign since the original Halo.

Make Xbox Great Again
Trump 2016
The 343 campaigns are horrible.
its not the fans who felt betrayed, its mostly people who were never initially interested who pretty much wrote shit all over the internet about the xbox.Fans felt betrayed and poured their fury into forums and game blogs; critics dubbed the event a disaster.
Really? Why? Locke has zero personality. His script is horribly bad. If I here double time Osiris one more time I will puke. The gameplay is straight as an arrow with no really large moments. Nothing ever felt epic besides cut scenes. I did like the master chief segments but even that was nonsensical plot wise.
I'm sorry: save the Xbox One from what exactly? It's outselling the 360 to a ridiculous degree. Just because it isn't the top selling console doesn't mean it's failing. Microsoft is laughing all the way to the bank with the Xbox One.
I'm mad late in this response, but this is my sentiment exactly. I'm torn as to whether it would help though; I still think Sunset Overdrive and Killer Instinct are the best games on Xbox one and they're also exclusive, but Sunset didn't sell what it deserved to so I think at the end of the day we can't really say it's Microsoft's fault at this point as they really are trying it seems, but gamers just don't speak with their wallets when they're presented with that colorful, inventive game that they claimed to of been wanting. I will say that Microsoft's backwards compatibility beats the shit out of Sony's money grubbing PS2 classics bullshit on PS4; at least I still own those digital games and can play them on my Xbone whereas Sony wants me to buy Twisted Metal Black a third time.Ok... -_-
2nd thread.. No big deal.
But like, what are they losing specifically? I just don't remember Sony being this.... Vocal constantly when they were losing one whole generation in America on how they were going to make the PS3 better again. I remember it only being talked about after the hacks.
Regardless like, ugh, this is annoying for me. Microsoft just needs to make better games and that's it. Get more color and creativity. Get abstract and weird... Tbh, Microsoft really only has America and that's who they should make sure feels right. The rest of the world doesn't care and they shouldn't waste money fighting for it... Reach out but focus on what they are strong at and it's here.
Amen.Keep making games in franchise I love - Gears, Halo, State of Decay, Crackdown and keep getting me interesting new IPs and building them into franchises with good developers (Quantum Break, Scalebound, Recore, Sea of Thieves) and we'll be all good Xbox.
Their current path might not win them many NPDs and sales charts comparisons but as long as the system is ticking along and they are making the right decisions I will be a happy Xbox owner at least.
Feel free to stick the games on PC if necessary too
If Microsoft really wants to secure the next big franchise they need to take more chances with their games.
The MS exclusives are often pretty good games, but none of them are really anything truly unique and from what we have seen this extends into 2016 as well.
Sony's first party is more of a rollercoaster quality wise, but at least their are doing something different with titles like Until Dawn and No Man's Sky + Playstation VR.
The way MS has managed to turn the Xbox One image around is super impressive, but most of what they have done is remove a lot of shitty features instead of adding new ones. So while the Xbox is doing better, besides maybe backwards compatibility, I just don't see them having a lot of big advantages over the competition. It's not a bad console, but the race against PS4 is lost by now.
The problem is like I said in the PS4 thread. Until MS start thinking about more about then just the US they will always lose out to Sony.

I would have said games like Quantum Break, Scalebound and Sea of Thieves are exactly that sort of game, I think, I don't see them doing gangbusters in the US. Plus we're yet to see more of what Recore is, which could very well fit that sort of game too. I've no idea if Crackdown is a big US sort of franchise either?
Halo 4? Yes. Halo 5? Hell no, it's great. The 343 campaigns are horrible.
11/10Buy American, buy Xbox. Help make this country great again. Until we can figure out why we're losing we should boycott Playstation.

Is the Kinect dead? It had great potential, it just needed well designed game to go with it.
To revive Xbox, Microsoft needs to land the next big franchise. To do that, the company must persuade game developers with all of their talent and experience to collaborate with them. And to do that, outside developers and potential second-party partners must believe in Microsoft.

It's a steaming pile of shite and it's dead.
Thank god.

Honestly I think the Xbox is great. The UI was garbage when it first was released, but now it`s awsome, and I really like the preview program.

In theory, the Xbox One was an improvement on everything fans loved about the Xbox 360: a more powerful Kinect
It is, and the machine's offerings is top notch. It's release has corrupted its image and they will not be able to remove that mark no matter how hard they try. MS should continue on thier current trajectory, they're building alot of good will with their fans, x1 is selling well the same markets that favoured 360 and be hopeful that will transition into next gen with enthusiasm rather than disdain.Honestly I think the Xbox is great. Halo 5 needed a better narrative IMHO, you can clearly see how they cut their original idea () and didn't succeed in making it memorable (unlike Halo 2, which was cut but, except for the cliffhanger ending, was a damn great campaign). I really liked thedialogue-only missions were clearly meant to be something elsebossfights, and I don't agree that they're repetitive.Eternal Guardian
