Persona 3/4 and TWEWY are like some of the best RPGs of all time and some of my top favs. Shame.

I think that's only for Persona 3: Portable, never heard it before. I did really like this song, but have no idea what it's called. It played near the end of the game during school time, it was a pianistic arrangement. Really soft and beautiful.
Well I'll never know, cause I don't know her, and I always give people the benefit of the doubt. But it's very hard to tell these sort of things, cause of the internet. I never insinuated that she was a troll until this last post, because I find it's better to wast your time arguing politely with a troll/joke poster, than hurt an person being genuine about themselves.
I quite liked her as a poster though. She even posted in one of my threads, which was pretty great, as my threads don't really get a lot of views (obscure animation, shit like that). She was a wierdo, but a lot of people are, including myself, and that's what made her such a great poster anyhow.
I wonder how many hours total it took you to write the two posts, including thinking and processing info and proofreading and crying and stuff. I have to imagine it took a long time, and I respect that. I usually get really bored when I'm two or three paragraphs in. I feel like, if I took a huge amount of time on a post, I could write something really beautiful.

I'm down to give P4 a shot one day, just don't have the platform to play it on. I bought the US release of P3 the day it came out, and bought it again digitally to retry it when I had a PS3. Characters just felt too one dimensional but maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance. Concept of P4 just sounds more interesting.
Is there like a dramatic tonal shift in TWEWY at some point? I played it on my iPad for a few hours and the whole thing felt so drainingly angsty. Battles were pretty fun, though I think the glass touch screen made some of the gestures extra difficult.
YES!!!! I love this song, I love the guitar that hits in the middle of the song too. Man oh man, Persona really is amazing. No one ever answered the question, but I guess I should go to Amazon to get the OST?

I play many FPS's. Used to be big into CS:S and some CS:GO, huge Halo fan, and others too. My taste of games/genres is only expanding, you should try to do the same, who knows what you may like.

I recommend EarthBound with every fiber of my being. It is a magical game.
I didn't know you were into JRPG's, well if antitrop recommends Earth Bound with so much effort, I will make sure to play this one.

Meh, nothing that outlandish here really. I mean, this is no Time Cube Redux: Space Moors, Freemasons, black means white, there was no slavery but what is.
I said I don't like modern JRPGs. The vast majority of my favorite games of all time are JRPGs, from the 90s.
1 dimensional is definitely not how I would describe P3 characters. Their motivations and character development is top notch compared to most other RPGs.
And for TWEWY yes, did you get to the second partner?

I read the whole OP. Can't really comment too much. I remember Holy Baikal and it's sad when most people get permabanned, especially for stupid arguments with mods. That said, I mostly felt like he was kind of off topic and spouting nonsense more often than not. I think there should be a fine, fine line between appreciating what Holy might have "stood" for and emulating his behavior.
More importantly, it's nice when people are able to overcome their prejudices and find new media, opinions, friends, etc.
Can't (won't?) recommend any moe or NISA stuff besides maybe Disgaea, but that's more for gameplay and not cuteness. It does have some weird stuff in there and can give the OPa chance to level up moe appreciation to DFC. Strongly recommend against that though.
Don't know of any moe VNs. As for VNs in general, I enjoyed quite a few DS ones: Ace Attorney, 999, Ghost Trick. No waifus. For adult stuff, I've only ever played through a few Mirror Moon games: Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night. Pulp anime stories which are fun if you like that kind of thing. You could probably find some waifus there but i wouldn't call either one cutesy.
Persona. OP will almost definitely like 4. 1 is not a bad game, but it's a very different game from FES. First person dungeon crawling. Not terrible dungeons. No waifus, story is passable, maybe hard to follow. There are worse JRPGs recommended to people regularly. If you're ever on the verge if buying some questionable looking Vita JRPG because of Gaf, just buy Persona 1 instead and thank me later.
Persona 2 is one I hear a lot of praise for but the slow, slow, slow battle system and demon navigation really makes the game a chore for me. Outside of battle, what I have played has been interesting and the duology is supposed to have a decent story. Can probably get IS pretty cheap on sale. Again, no explicit waifu system.
