I guess my assertion would be that I find it fake. Regardless of how it happened and what Holy posted, I'd like to believe that there was no 'ooc' happening and only venting occurred.

Could you imagine how it would feel if it were true, I can't. I don't want to. I'll be speaking to Holy soon, till then the memories and emotions I have for Holy will remain steadfast and true.

Would HB like you flanderization her character? HB was a real person with real feelings, and was much more complex of a person than the moe characters that she enjoyed.

I'm sorry if this comes off as offensive, but this is either one big joke, or you've got some serious issues. Getting so attached to a forum member that you have never met in person is not healthy.

It's hard to find the exact post, because his freakout over it lasted for days and probably across several threads, but here's the gist.

Baikal blindbought some game he heard was good and then decided it was embarrassing (I forget if it was ever found out which, I want to say through hints it was concluded it was a Splinter Cell) and decided that it was worth it to just trash his library of a hundred+ games and just start a new one to not have that game on there.

People questioned that decision and found the solution to be more crying for attention than a logical end and that lead to those posts above.

You're absolutely right, I'm in the wrong here to assume that there is only one facet to Holy, but it's unfortunately the only one I know of. Sorry to seem so pathetic and childish everyone.

What I did see was a woman in purple with a gun advertising it.
And my immediate thought was "great, I love purple. And I love video games with strong female, badass characters. There's so few video games with badass, heroic women. There's too much testosterone on the steam library and stories about macho military dudes and things out there. Being a badass woman is exactly what the doctor ordered, I'll buy this game immediately".

Then, when it appeared in my library, is a gross gangster game. Worse yet, the first thing staring me in the face was an achievement called "hoe boat" and "nut shot". The achievement having a pair of boobs with dollar signs on them. And an achievement for shooting a man's genitals.

I remember that thread and Baikal was trolled and dismissed to all hell and back for being OCD about wanting to remove a Steam game she hated from her library. Apparently it was a game (she never mentioned which one) that profoundly disgusted her, and looking at its name would bring her down; people in the thread, this being the internet, used that to mercilessly mock her, and you know how sensitive she was to that.

Note how the conversation is posted as a screencap rather than a quote, so as to prevent anyone from looking into whether the context justifies her outburst or not.
