This made me laugh so hard, oh shit. And my immediate thought was "great, I love purple."

I had no idea about that (never saw her correcting anyone), and obviously I'll start using the right pronoun from now on.
Also, to anyone accusing Arcadius of being Baikal's alt. if you have read the post from February he himself linked to in the OP, you know that's pretty much impossible: fuck, that's this thread's entire point. So I have to assume you yourselves are trolling.
Posts like that one make me wish that I could personally tag users without putting them on my ignore list. But then I realize that the users I'm thinking of generally always have anime avatars, so it would be a matter of redundancy.
Nice generalization that you think everyone thinks that way.
I remember that thread and Baikal was trolled and dismissed to all hell and back for being OCD about wanting to remove a Steam game she hated from her library. Apparently it was a game (she never mentioned which one) that profoundly disgusted her, and looking at its name would bring her down; people in the thread, this being the internet, used that to mercilessly mock her, and you know how sensitive she was to that.
Note how the conversation is posted as a screencap rather than a quote, so as to prevent anyone from looking into whether the context justifies her outburst or not.

Notice that I said generally. Of course I don't think all people with anime avatars are thinking the same thing as the post I referred to, sorry if it came across that way.
I've had posts deleted before. Pm a mod dafuc?I can't wrap my head around the fact that someone felt the need to delete my post in this thread.
I had no idea if HolyBaikal ever stated her gender, I apologize for misgendering her. I remember that being a hard struggle for her along the way.
And if I identify as a woman, which I do

See if that chain of posts is anything to make either side proud.

This. It's simply not normal to decide to make a new account on steam and stop using your old one because you don't like a game in your library.I'm seeing HolyBaikal try to be a special snowflake while everybody else tells it like it is. Anybody with an ounce of common sense would just hide the game in their Steam library instead of begging for attention.

Only side I see that has nothing to be proud of is HB. Throwing away a Steam account because of one little game is not normal behavior and is clearly indicative of a troll, regardless of how you choose to try and spin it.Context for that Steam thread screencap:

I think people are just kind of scared of cute things, which is frankly rather silly!
I admire your courage for posting this thread and continuing posting OP.
It's impressive you put so much effort to understand something you had completely written off...I'm not sure I would've done that.
On a related note, I've recently picked up and played through Ar Tonelico with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised too.
This thread made me have a dream about picking up Ar Tonelico on the PS2 from some weird gaming collector's store in some mall with over priced games. Sadly they didn't have the other game I was looking for Star Ocean: Till the end of time. It was probably for the best though because they wanted $60 for ar tonelico.
That wasn't a feature back then.I'm seeing HolyBaikal try to be a special snowflake while everybody else tells it like it is. Anybody with an ounce of common sense would just hide the game in their Steam library instead of begging for attention.

The op is almost instantly there to quote and thank anyone that either praises HB, or his opening post, while refusing to quote those that go against his agenda. It's actually pretty entertaining.Stop being an enabler you're not doing op any favors

No... You're not thinking what I think you're thinking are you? It can't be...I wonder if we knew anyone else like that.

It would not be the first time a member gave their account to someone who's banned.
Hell, we got a mod out of it.
