No way, why would people assume I'm trolling. I haven't trolled since I've been on NeoGAF and I won't for the foreseeable future.

In my opinion, Holy was also a genuine person, no trolling involved.

The fair thing would be to let HB back so she can speak for herself.

HB knows people disagree though. A lot of the opinions and support are more of the same. This is just a concentrated high octane version of those same debates.

Ive heard of Waifu's before and thought it was people just kind of jokingly saying a certain character is thier favorite.

But at this point it seems like some people really take it seriously and that is creepy as hell.

About scooby doo, the old series was like that. They felt like P3 characters, they had little interaction between them, but thats because the series was build around the investigation and jokes, not the slice of life parts. While Mystery Inc (the 2 seasons story arc scooby doo series of just a few years ago) had a lot of slice of life parts to it and it felt more like Persona 4 (in fact it has the same final message of of frindship).

In fact you are the first person i read with the opinion that P3 characters are more friends between them than P4.

Yea that why I called HB and in-character troll.

It was acting for him (which is why I will not call him a she), and in that act, HB clearly was attempting to excite the crowd, push buttons, and react delusional.

And yes I think he admitted the HB character was something he wanted to be, not who he is

Is HolyBakai permabanned? I enjoyed reading his/her posts. :( Even if most of her/his opinions were a "bit" controversial he/she sounded sincere and was always very polite.I can't even imagine why he/she got banned.

I think it's more of a continuum between jokingly saying that it's your favorite character to creepy obsession. For example, I myself have had a particular character as a waifu since I was like maybe 14 years old -- I don't even know if that term even existed then but the idea was the same -- and that hasn't ever changed... still is my favorite of all time. However, I don't collect anything of that character.

I talked to HB by other means away from the forum as well. she behaves the same way. I dont think it was trolling. Doesnt really matter though as I found the person nice. Perhaps a bit overbearing at times but hell so am I. That happens.

I've never heard of the term "suss" before, weird word. So because I'm unfazed by how others view Holy, something is "up" and I'm an alt account? That's pretty sad.

Thats a good analogy. I like bad gaf threads and looting stores. Realky any time society breaks down i feel like i can just be myself for a bit.
