The challenger for the belt didn't even fucking want it. No one cared, including the wrestlers.
The main course is at Summerslam. Battleground was the warm-up for the majority of these feuds.

I would say yes just because of how stiff and uncoordinated Aj and Paige seemed with each other. It should have been far better than it was.

Still think the booking of the battle Royale was perfect. Miz will get cheap monster heat (don't judge it on last night's reaction, dead crowd) and Ziggler will get a massive pop when he wins at Summerslam. It makes for a nice chase. They don't have any chase angles around the lesser belts anymore so it's much needed.

Nothing, besides that extra safe tackle through the ropes but Paige is apparently easy to hate now so everything she touches is shit.

Arguably, it's the best potential Diva's match of the current roster (even including NXT) - when it falls flat that's a bad sign for the immediate future. A lot of things were much worse than I imagined last night. I was in a state of being asleep/awake and it were the hottest days of the year in Germany, so that didn't help, but I was looking forward to Swagger/Rusev and Jericho/Wyatt. But all those matches sucked.
The cancelation of Rollins/Ambrose was stupid - if Rollins is slightly injured as I suspect, it was an elegant way to remove him from the cash in scenario, but considering you need subscribers for the network, you shouldn't "cheat" your customers like that about the true main event of the night.
The only thing that could have saved the event was the crowd, but they sucked, too. I'm getting a bit tired of all the "super-fans" sitting in the front row at each and every PPV (how do you afford that/get those precious tickets anyway?). It's not their job to entertain, that's up to the WWE, but if they're as unmotivated as they were last night, they might look for a better way to spend their money in the future.

To be honest I felt that Kofi's botched trouble in paradise whiff and Cesaro's Big E elimination were just as awkward. The Paige/AJ match was lacklustre, they seem to be running before they can walk by trying to put big spots in the matches when they should just focus on the basics.
