Other than the main matches, Makabe vs. Yano has the potential to be fun as they are former tag partners, also Makabe vs. Shibata is a rematch from WK7. Ibushi vs. Fale might be a unique big/little man match, and all of the Bullet Club vs. Bullet Club and CHAOS vs. CHAOS matches are always intriguing. I'm also very interested to see how Elgin gets over...he's got a very Scott Norton-esque look and style, which I think will mesh very well with the New Japan fans. Him vs. other power-based guys like Goto, Kojima, and especially Ishii will be very interesting.
lmao, 45 seconds of analog stick twirling to use a lockpick to crack a safe (assuming you put enough points into your Petty Larceny stat!) and find a satchel of lockpicks inside. You forgot then being over-encumbered with the furnishings of a small mansion and spending the next 10 minutes filtering through your horde of mostly useless tat.
This being after the mandatory lock picking minigame of course!
Homna vs Elgin should be fun
totally not shopped
I've highlighted my most anticipated matches.
July 20: Sure, let's start with the showstoppers of Styles vs. Shibata and Tanahashi vs. Ibushi. Makabe vs. Yano could be interesting, as could Naito vs. Fale. Hopefully, Tenzan vs. Gallows will be brief.
July 23: Grumpy fucker Nagata is going to be fun for this tournament. And this is Elgin's first test. Let's see if he can keep up. I don't have a good feel for Takahashi, and Kojima vs. Ishii will be fine.
July 25: Grumpy fucker Nagata strikes again, this time against Nakamura. Ishii is going to beat Takahashi up, much to his lady friend's dismay. Kojima vs. Elgin looks like it could be disastrous. Okada vs. Honma should be great.
July 26: Makabe vs. Shibata, Styles vs. Ibushi, Tanahashi vs. Naito. Oh, yes.
July 28: Goto vs. Honma should be fun. Ishii destroying himself and Anderson could be good. My expectations for the other matches on this card are low.
July 29: Makabe vs. Tenzan, Shibata kicking Ibushi's pretty face off, Styles vs. Stardust Genius, old fishface himself, Tetsuya Naito. Tanahashi vs. Gallows should also be good.
August 1: Nakamura vs. Ishii and Okada vs. Goto, obviously, but grumpy fucker Nagata abusing Anderson could be fun. If Elgin can't get a good match with Honma, I don't know what to say.
August 2: Tenzan vs. Ibushi, Shibata vs. Fale, Makabe vs. Naito. And Tanahashi vs. Yano one more time.
August 4: Grumpy fucker Nagata vs. Ishii! Nakamura vs. Goto!
August 5: Shibata vs. Yano is as good a time for the Yano face as any.
Makabe vs. Styles, and Naito vs. Ibushi.
August 7: Low expectations for this card other than grumpy fucker Nagata stiffing Elgin and Okada vs. Ishii.
August 8: Ibushi vs. Fale could be good, while Tanahashi vs. Shibata has a lot to live up to.
August 9: Battle of the old grumpy fuckers in Kojima vs. Nagata, while Nakamura vs. Honma and Goto vs. Ishii should be great.
August 11: Tenzan vs. Shibata should be fun, and I'm curious how Styles and Fale will work together. Tanahashi vs. Makabe is obvious.
August 12: Okada vs. Nagata, Goto vs. Elgin, Honma vs. Ishii.
August 14: Makabe vs. Ibushi, Tanahashi vs. Styles, Shibata stiffing Gallows, Tenzan vs. Naito.
August 15: Honma vs. Takahashi, Nagata and Goto throwing bombs, Nakamura vs. Okada to close it out.
Didn't wwe 12's story mode have hhh kill wcw once and for all or something?
The only WCW mode you'll see in the WWE games is when DX went to Nitro's parking lot AKA the moment that changed the Monday Night Wars.
My only issue with the schedule is that it's pretty obvious where they are going with the booking. AJ vs. Tanahashi is going to decide the winner of block A, and Nakamura vs. Okada will decide the winner of block B. Hopefully Shibata, Ishii, and Goto have strong showings, and its looking like its set up that Honma may actually get a win against the only person who will job to him, Yujiro.
Anyway, my hope is that it will be AJ vs. Nakamura in the finals as it's a fresh matchup that has ***** written all over it, but I think they'll go with Tanahashi vs. Nakamura. Either way, Nak is my pick to win, now that he's apparently done with the IC belt a G1 win is a great way to get him back into the HW title picture.

Never forget the greatest HHH cutscene of all time.
Video games. The only place where Vince can live out his dream booking.
Never forget the greatest HHH cutscene of all time.
So what you are saying is that it essentially predicted 2016?
I guess if you hadn't played Mad World before it
I had, both dope soundtracks. Just because one is great doesn't mean the other is...wait, you're one of THOSE people.
didn't you just go into a rant about uncharted because someone liked it better than tomb raider and then another one about how uncharted 1 was great and so the ot her 2s arent because it was great
it's like when you hear nwa the first time and you're like what is this then you hear mc rens solo stuff and it don't have the fangs anymore
Some fan called into Observer Live and basically said he wanted to see HHH vs Ambrose and Bray at Mania
The horror
Keep an eye on the rafters, friends. All I'm sayin'.

I also love how Nash just leaves in the direction of the wall/bragging rights poster to make his smooth exit.
