Had a longish drive last night and listened to Pink Tape start to finish and omfggff Step is like some god tier sexiness. Not sure why I didn't really notice it when I first gave the full album a listen but it's gone straight to #1 ahead of Nu ABO for my favourite kpop song ever.

Jesus christ, she was only 13 when she debuted? I think I can vaguely remember someone saying she was under 30. It must not have registered because it's so unbelievable.

This is an excellent performance, and the song is decent too. But watching this, I realised that I don't like her voice very much. I definitely feel it's not suited for this kind of song at all.

In other news, this song is fucking amazing. I feel like it reminds me of 2-3 different songs. I am vaguely reminded of a song from one of the PSX FF's, and some Norwegian (only heard it in Norwegian at least) Christmas song.
Dance performance and two decent songs (Style and Sweet Impact) aside, Bad Drive is damn good. Where has it been all my life? I like this pre recorded version more than the studio version.
Definitely one of her greatest songs (unlike Only One).

The crying thing isn't special in itself but it was a significant moment, anniversary, looking back at her Japanese adventures. 'Valenti' was her biggest JP hit sales-wise so seeing Tokyo Dome shake it to it last year was hype, plus she looked so cool in that outfit.
