Kendrick Lamar's verse

Astro is pretty good for his age, I respect that he came out and did his thing. Wasn't a bad verse either. I'd rather that than just dick sucking or ranting on twitter like Joey Bada$$.

I'm still laughing over BOB's response. Dude starts to play a guitar at the end of that shit.

It shows he doesn't really even care anymore.

His next album is supposed to be a rock album, so we might be getting another WZRD if you guys are into that stuff.

I don't mind it except most rappers (Andre, BoB) straight suck at playing guitar.

Like they been playing for 7 months or something.

Weezy actually knows how to play the guitar. Slash taught him how to play over a couple years. Funny thing is now he's actually marginally better than Slash. Even if he doesn't show it too often.

Isn't this the same guy who dumbed down his shit to gain mainstream appeal and acting like he set the bar, lmao hiphop is lame as hell now.

Man, Lamar's a serial killer, cause that was flat out mass murder. Many rappers have really become too complacent with money and fame, and it shows.

Pretty good meta commentary here. Crazy how many rappers (and artists in general) this applies to.

I just listened to that Cassidy joint... and I find myself listening again because I completely blanked out during the verse. It was that non-memorable. Maybe I'll catch more on the second playthrough.

It was like my Grandma and Kevin Hart merged and then talked in its sleep.

Actually no, my Grandma and Kevin Hart are much more entertaining. Sorry Grandma.

I'm talking about Kendrick, shit wasn't even his best lol. Lupe falls in same category too, I guess it's not all about bars.. it's how you carry yourself in the industry. Wayne said he was the best and people started to call him the champ.

Not gonna lie Cassidy was like one of my favorite rappers back in the mid 2000s....now there's an immensity of the shits I do now give about the dude. Its hard to focus during his track. Its the same stuff he's said over mixtape tracks for years over a beat that is becoming increasingly annoying for me to hear. Like I said a few pages ago, anyone who makes a response track is taking an L in some way especially if they are going over the same beat.

Cass's verse put me to sleep. Jumping on the reply bandwagon is only putting Kendrick's name in more mouths with how many dudes he's made emotional and shit.

Every, "you ain't better than me, I'm better than you coz (insert brag)" + "i'll fuck your bitch" is making me roll my eyes. Get in the booth and record a dope album with your bum asses

It wasn't that good but he understands and tried to step it up.

A lot of dudes understand it. Especially the well known guys that tend to fly under the radar in terms of popularity and commercial success. And while I completely understand these types of dudes responding, they need to do something other than typical mixtape tracks if they want anyone to care. I mean.. at least Joell didn't put me into a mental coma. Though that might just be me because dudes like Cassidy, Papoose, etc.. all just make me zone out and miss everything because it's all so repetitive and non-descript.

I need a damn name change.
