I was thinking about getting a big SW Set.

UCs Tie Fighter and Slave 1 are cool but I don't like the Slave 1 and I have the First order Tie Fighter and kinda feel like I don't want the UCS Tie.

I was thinking about getting the Ewok Village.

I've watched Jang's review and it looks cool, what do you guys think? Any of you have it and can give me some input?

EDIT: As a note, I mostly care about displaying my legos.

I'd try to "integrate" the ewok village with the tydirium, to kinda display the definitive endor scene.

Worst UCS ever.

Haha, yeah.

I compeltely agree.

I just went crazy because I wanted that set to be good... so in the end I just ended up spending my money elsewhere... and then some.

this week I just received:

Tydirium shuttle
Poe's X-Wing
FO Tie Fighter

Tomorrow:

Lego Ideas Wall-e

Later this week:

Ewok Village.

That's all I got for my birthday. Autopresent.

4080 pieces. Only 5 figs. So the 399 dollar will be correct too. We'll know in five minutes I guess.

(damn I want this set!)

The lack of minifigures is super strange, but we'll see how it pans out. I'd be fine with it if you could still find and purchase the Disney CMF, but you can't. :|

Finally opened my first Nexo Knight set, Infernox captures the Queen.

I really love the knights but I haven't been too impressed with the build sets. Might have to bricklink the knights.

Damn, at 74 cm tall, that makes it even taller than Tower of Orthanc, which was 73 cm tall. I did not expect it to be taller than that.

Oh god this is such a dilemma it's so close to amazing but that colour still grinds at me!

If I buy it it needs to be kept together and my 5 year old isn't down for that!

Edit - posted a new thread as this will be a wide reach, sorry if that's not cool

There will be nothing to prevent us from getting this. My wife is a Disney fanatic. I just wish there were more figures. So the tinkerbell and tuxedo Mickey are the only exclusives?

Minnie and daisy are also in park attire, Minnie was pink in the CMF series and daisy slightly different

Okay, the lady of the house is allready a bit turning around, hearing how tall it is and seeing better pictures of it. I might save some money each month and wait for a double VIP to get it. This probably means no Beetle though...

I would love that, save for the price tag!

Showed it to the other half, but she was disappointed it was not completely enclosed and did not like the look of the large panels at the front. So I guess it's probably out of the question on that front :p

Nope. Some neat parts in there, but only five (boring) figures. "or other characters from your collection" is almost an insult. What's next with the Death Star? "providing endless play possibilities with the included minifigure: Darth Vader, or other characters from your collection"?

It'll sell like crazy, of course.

In other news, Lego wanted me to return the Ecto-1. Since it was a huge hassle when I had to return another set (which was the wrong one, so I had no choice), I'll just keep it.

Only 5 figs? That is really disappointing. They needed at very least Cinderella, Chip 'n Dale, Goofy and Pluto included as well.
