Been trying to play more of my Steam library, slowly getting there.
That's really a sweet coincidence, yeah. 😖
I recently played a lot of the games who I bought before that were "too old" for me before but since I'm a bit restricted in what to play since my old machine died and my laptop is my only option to play Steam games at the moment I gave them a chance.
At the moment I'm working my way through Bully which is a really good game. You can even kiss boys. 😲
That's more or less been my only option all along considering my only machine to play games on is a relatively old Macbook haha. Been playing a lot of Dungeons of the Endless with old high school friends, very beautiful/difficult game. And Bully is fantastic, never beat it but really enjoyed what I played. Awesome music too

Im currently dealing with the crippling anxiety of studying for my final tomorrow by playing New Vegas dlc. So far so good!

Yeah, it's weird. I consider myself a feminist, but I'm generally pretty out of touch when it comes to social issues. Like even gay stuff, stuff that concerns me directly, I'm not exactly in tune with. In this case I'm a man, and I'll never really 'get it', and the social sciences give me a headache, so I have trouble composing some thoughtful response on why they should maybe reconsider their attitudes. Instead I just feel kind of disappointed and find myself viewing them differently, I guess.

Which DLC? I liked Dead Money for its characters which are related to the Brotherhood of Steel and Old World Blues I liked for the variety of great missions with good writing and humour. Some of the energy weapons you find there in Big MT are really cool too (OWB).

I don't think my PC will be able to run the GC emulator :S specially when I need my 60 fps and a GC controller for that game

I finished Dead Money yesterday and although it ran fucking terribly on my laptop it was pretty awesome. I loved the writing and characters, its just the mechanics that were a drag. It also kept crashing in random moments and at the end. I couldn't even make it back to the wasteland without my game dying so I had to put in a command prompt and skip the ending slideshow. Fucking Obsidian/Bethesda
Im currently playing Old World Blues right now and so far so good. The humor is cool and the weapons are awesome. Roboscorpions are a bitch though. I'll run through the other two and return to the mainline story to finally finish it once and for all.

I posted what's in the hyperlink and kept perusing the steam thread. Eventually someone brought up my tag and I saw what happened. Apparently mods do it? Idk it's like a badge of honor. I never really felt accepted on gaf until then :')
Depends on the hardware, it should be doable on most modern machines with a good CPU/GPU. A friend of mine plays emulated games with Intels integrated grapics thingie. I'm a real noob. He knows what he does and tweaks a lot on his hardware. Don't know, I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to hardware.
The only thing that was really frustrating about Dead Money was the way to the Vault. So many speakers. That was awful level design.
Yeah, it was a bit rushed, the whole game in general. Very unoptimized. I recommend getiing 4GB Fallout New Vegas and New Vegas Anti Crash. And if you want to play as a cool Bounty Hunter you should look into the quest mod called New Vegas Bounties (which is very well made and almost not distinguishable from vanilla (original) content).

Yeah man, all this bj talk got me thinking. Like I always wondered what its like for the person doing it whether it's a guy or a girl and that makes me want to try it. Well, the Dolphin emulator is very CPU bound. It loves single core performance, meaning anything below 3.0 ghz is gonna have some trouble running certain games.
Same for me... but I think it's time to take the plunge. I think I'm gonna sign up for Tumblr since there's some stuff I can't see unless I'm signed in.

Ugh... I don't know what's wrong with me this days. I was thinking of the PCSX 2 emulator (PS2 emulator) - but somewhat similar requirements, in general a beefier cpu = better performance. Anyways, yes some games will run fine on Core 2 Duo processors but other games not so much - usually these are wii games like The Last Story. But most games like Crazy Taxi will run well on 2.0 - 2.2 Ghz processors. From the Dolphin FAQ website:
