I would compliment him or ask him about a certain kind of workout that he might do. I was one time flirting with a guy at the gym, and I was just asking about his ab workout (he has really nice abs) - we had a good conversation but that was it. We continually make eye contact and make each other laugh... lol. I suggest you talk about a workout that you have seen him doing, and go from there. Best of luck!

Start up a conversation about gym stuff? In a way it's kind of nice that there's common ground there. And in a way gym discussions being so mundane is a good thing, too, you can probably judge from how receptive he is in the conversation if he likes you, at least platonically. After that, I don't know though, lol. But breaking the ice is the first step.

I kind of have the opposite problem where I have a lot of trouble actually learning about ideas, but once I do I can relate and present them to others fairly easily.

I'm of the same opinion. I tend to waste a lot of time at home, so school is far better than having nothing to dnly thing I really hate is doing the paperwork to actually get into school.

To compensate for the depth of comprehension I'm incredibly forgetful and absent-minded, so I tend to screw up even things that I know well. >___>

That sort of learning is beneficial though, at least in terms of having a wide breadth of Knowledge. Even if it's not exactly tailored to your objectives, it still lets you collect basic information fairly quickly, which also helps a lot when dealing with new people.

Yeah, there's all sorts of bugs, glitches and frame rate problems. For me I just never liked the premise of the game.

Yeah they're pretty glitchy on pstriple. Theyre still fucking glitchy on pc too but they at least have the mod community. It's a shame because they have some amazing writing and atmosphere. The shooting is just okay but i guess it could be argued that it's just one play style. As much as i love 3 and NV, its still really difficult for me to play 1 and 2

i wanted to play around with the annoying "lesbian ends up having sex with a guy" trope that is often seen on tv by writing about a straight guy and his gay friend who has a huge crush on him but is currently in a relationship. The straight guy ends up having sex with the gay guy due to a series of events that spiral down to the straight and the gay hanging out and drinking beer, but I read it and I could hear the "bow chika bow wow" music playing in my head :v it was just a dumb idea that i had, maybe dramatic isn't the right word. it could also lead to the gay guy's boyfriend breaking up with him and trying to move on while the gay guy gets trapped in grindr hookups and the straight guy trying to fix his friendship with the gay guy's boyfriend

Seems fine to me (if a bit contrived, but if it's the whole premise you can probably get away with it, so long as you do a good job setting up that the straight guy is bi-curious). As long as you're thinking about the consequences and following up on them realistically and consistently with your characters' personality, that'd make a perfectly serviceable "revitalized relationship" story.

There are also girls out there who play gay dating sims. I think Youtuber PressHeartToContinue (aka Dodger) also talked about No Thank You in the Co-Optional Podcast a few weeks ago. She may even start a LP of it, obviously with the adult content cut out because of Youtube's guidelines.

Oh, of course. I just mean to say that straight guys seem to be the majority of the VN fans here at GAF so it's hard to strike up conversations about games the appeal to gay dudes, straight ladies, lesbians, etc. etc. It mostly happens in the OT or LGBT appealing Community threads.

My whole point is that I want to encourage more conversations about games like Coming Out On Top, No, Thank You!!!, etc, from all parts of GAF. Everyone is welcome. It's just that being a gay man and knowing the appeal of these games to other gay men, that's why I brought it up here.

(I've played the demo some time ago and it intrigued me).

Overall I think it's pretty good: stories are kind of comedy / detective stuff (with some twists here and there), the humor can be hit and miss and main characters can be charmingly or annoyingly stupid. And if you're into (muscle) bears, there are a lot of eye candies (Ian Park is only one of them)

Try watching it; episodes are short (few minutes each).

As Caladrius said, this isn't bad per se, but does sound rather contrived; at least, when divorced from any further detail or elaboration.

It would be worthwhile to establish plausibility of this happening before the scene in question, because otherwise it does seem unlikely or out of left field. Define your characters well, what they want and how they feel, so they can act and react consistently as the plot progresses. That kinda thing.

But then again I can barely write any more so what do I know.
