Lightning Stars in New Louis Vuitton Fashion Film

The store displays look even better in person thanks to the lighting and high resolution.

This is surreal and not something I expected.

It's interesting, to say the least. I hated FFXIII in every way, but I think Lightning was my second favorite character (or rather, she's my second least hated character), the most liked/least hated would be Zahz.

I could only imagine if they put Lightning in Smash instead of Cloud. Oh god, the resistance would have been palpable I'd bet.

Even though it's incredibly OOC of Lightning I guess its a good look. Plus I can get behind the idea of more clothing lines ripped from/inspired by JRPG games. This is a dawning of a new era, folks. The interviewing of a fictional character though seems a bit strange, we will eventually come to the point where we will have holographic Lightning wandering around as if she was a real person.

You think I'm crazy but we'll see where we are a decade or two from now.

That's my favorite one. It fits her style her more.(at least the top part)

I wish it was featured in the promo vid or hopefully it would appear in a new one.
Yeah, I don't really understand all the puffy skirts, aside from them somehow symbolizing "summer", which doesn't really make a lot of sense (blooming as a spring motif isn't bad, but it also isn't terribly original). At least the black/white palette is consistent and doesn't actively clash like so many of the pink designs that don't fit Lightning's character (much less her poses) at all.

What I'd like is to see pictures of real people on social media wearing these designs... Surely there are people who must have bought these.

OH. MY. GOD. She's real. She exists. I am so infatuated with her. She's so perfect. Look at the way she poses for the camera. It is so natural, no?

Oh god, the era we live in.

A new Saks Fifth Avenue just opened here in Toronto. I spotted this last weekend.

It's odd to think of how many people will pass these displays with no idea who or what they are.

Either way, we're officially living in a William Gibson novel now.

They're not meant for everyday wear or normal people anyway.

Look at the prices.

Also, it's unlikely for people to wear the exact same outfit, but rather be mixing different pieces together to make it look less runway.
Dayum. Knew they were pricey but boy I have not kept up with high-end market fashion in a while. In spite of its price (and the figure required to wear it), most of those look wearable, at least.
