There's a little 2 in that picture.
It's limited to 1 per platform this batch.

That the problem?

No, it's the result of trying far too many times and hitting back instead of continue.

Pretty sure Im not the only one. Sure you may have been able to do it in 30 secs but some of us arent being let to purchase a copy ffs.

You don't need to foot the bill, ask Play-Asia for a refund.

Yeah, you're right. My brain is fried from calling and emailing about postal crap too much for the last month (had to get my Atelier replaced the other week too). I still have to wait whatever amount of time it is. Then try and get them after that.

I lied, I also picked up the Vita one cuz it has a different cover.

So I just email them to combine the orders?

I think it wouldn't have let click the checkout button if he had more than the allowed limit. That picture might be from earlier today when the limit was higher but the problem still existed.

Edit: nevermind

I had two Vita games show up from PA about two months after they shipped. I had given up on them.

The only way I order from PA is paying for the EMS shipping and make a larger order so that it balances out the increased cost. The standard option sucks so much and takes FOREVER if ever to show up.

Honestly, I never had to deal directly with the post office, I always contacted Play-Asia when I had any issues with shipping. They have better means to contact the post office than the customer.

Would be pretty cool if Death's Gambit or Salt and Sanctuary had a limited run when they release. I don't think either will see one by the developer/publisher :/

Failed again in getting the bundle and I was right on time and ready. Settled for standalone copies. Guess I'll have to bend over to eBay if I want the CD.

What normally took 2 and half weeks to get a Play-Asia order, it took 3 months to get Play-Asia to remail me another package after USPS fked up and lost my original package. After this experience, I definitely lost any amount of trust I had with my local USPS (so much back and forth that ended up with nothing)

Seems like there's still some Vita copies left which is good, gives me hope of not having much trouble getting future releases that I want (as long as I'm around on those dates at least).

PS4 will definitely be the hotter ticket.
I realize it had less total this print run but in general PS4 is higher demand.

it's cool that the PS4 and Vita covers are different. don't think i would bother getting both unless they were different.

Yeah, I thought the hardcore Vita collectors would balance it out for awhile, but it's clear the future NES/PS2-level userbase is showing out or at least making a more convincing argument for resellers to show up. Probably because the majority of hardcore Vita collectors are already getting their copy straight from the supplier, and less likely to find out about something they want a few days/years late and go looking for it on ebay.

A trend people probably look at could be Retro City Rampage DX on Vita being more common on ebay and always listing under $100, with the PS4 version rarely going below $100 and starting to get fewer listings. Things could change around over time, though, if PS4 copies get more prints going forward and one gets more alluring as a consequence.

Yeah thats for sure. Hopefully they will adjust their print numbers according for that for future games, and from what they said earlier about reevaluating numbers for the future gives us hope they will. While I got my copies today with no problems, it was close considering how fast they went. And I most definitely want to get Cosmic Star Heroine as well so hopefully when that goes on sale everything will be better and more people will have a chance to get what they want.

Woof I have a lot of emails. Wish people used our forums more where I explain how important it is to create an account and update your address before you purchase.

I can't combine all shipping btw, if you order a box it can make the shipping charge double on our end. I am trying to combine every order that I can though! :) I will let you know if I can't and refund you based on what is left after shipping.

Thanks for being active here as well.

I think I have a collecting problem. I don't even know what Saturday Morning RPG is, nor have I ever seen a screenshot, but I ended up buying 2 PS4 copies and 2 Vita copies.

Hopefully, but it might be early March. Depends on how fast we can get it processed with Sony.

Damn Sony.

Oh! Another question. The protective cases you guys sell; what do they look like? I can't really make out the picture on you site.

Are they like really thin foldable plastic box you slide the game into or are they made of harder plastic like a phone case of sorts?

"2,000 copies is clearly way too few"

You don't say?

Hot tip, I'm canceling people abusing the system. If you DIDN'T get a copy before, you may be able to now. But if you double dip and abuse the system then you will end up like the people I'm canceling.

;)

It's foldable that you slide a Vita game case into. I tried to take a decent photo and failed, but this is the general idea:

Worth it?

At the time they were (and to my knowledge they're still) the only ones selling plastic box protectors for Vita games. They're kind of pricey compared to what I've paid for protectors for other systems, but they're the only show in town, so ... yeah, haha.

I like box protectors for my sealed games because they help keep the seal intact and they display nicely. In general, they help reduce shelf ware on game cases, so I also like them for that. I'd wait until a bulk order option presents itself in the future to buy a lot of them, but to protect a few of your favorites or the LGR releases, I'd say "worth it"

I'm glad the print runs will increase, but please be careful. You have to maintain a balance where the games are still limited but more people are able to purchase them. At some point you lose the collectors who are wanting to purchase a rare game.

If anything, the increase of units from the first project to this one wasn't enough to meet the demand of the fanbase they grew from then to now. By the time the next game is released, word on how this one sold out in minutes will have crawled through the internet and even more people will want a piece of this.

I agree, for now. At some point though increasing print runs will actually have a negative effect. I don't think we are there yet, even with a decent increase for their next release.

In the end if they keep it limited there will always be some that miss out though.

If someone can find it in their heart to sell to me one of their second copies of the PS4 version, I would happily take it :)

It's been a bummer to miss it today by a mere minute in the morning and being in an important meeting for the next round :(

Yep, plus Breach & Clear was them funding production and sale of their own game, which provided capital for this production and sale. With two or more parties being involved in future releases of games by other studios, it should maybe be financially possible to order a bit more for whatever's expected or needed for the formula to still work.

Thinking about that made me realize they have a lot of integrity to see what they could sell by doing a quick reprint of their own games, but instead committing to what they're really trying to do. not devaluing their brand/word, or walking away from the responsibilities and expectations they've lined up... a plan that will be more work going into more/bigger releases, with money split more ways, and probably more challenges and blowback to navigate. Successive risks too, where any release could potentially be the one that doesn't sell.

I know that they won't keep expanding release after release, but this release today showed that the increase from the last one to this one wasn't nearly enough, and that they'll need to keep increasing the production to meet the demand. If anything, the advice to be wary of increasing production isn't really valid after today, it'll take a few more releases for us to see where the demand ends and overstock begins.

I think it's pretty clear that they need to at least double the amount of PS4 copies to 4k and either have the Vita stay at 2k or bump it up to 3k. I just woke up and was surprised to see the vita version still up for grabs, whereas the PS4 version must have sold out way earlier. So you can pretty much tell which system they need to focus on in the future.

I agree, they need to focus on the Vita while the demand is still there.
Is what I'm saying.
