I understand that as long as she stays on the piste she is within her rights of not accepting the judges decision. Is there something else actively going on? Are they still reviewing the time?
They are deciding on the written appeal by the coach, and reviewing the times. I think it's unprecedented, so nothing to base their decision on.

So far I think it's just going through the formal appeals process to get them to review the timing. Anyone know what the money thing was for? Is it there to prevent spiteful/unnecessary review requests?

Edit: Beaten

Men's group A 62 kg weightlifting about to get back under way. Love these fly on a wall type shots of the warn up area and general goings on behind the scenes.

Can someone sum up the fencing drama for me? Just tuned in now.
My limited understanding is that they were in a sort of "overtime" and tied at 5-5. The German fencer had to score a point to win, due to some sort of random drawing before the "overtime". There was 1 second left on the clock, and they had a few stoppages due to them both hitting each other at the same time, but that 1 second never ticked away. At one point the clock hit 0, they added the one second back, and then the German fencer scored a point and won, with 1 second still remaining on the clock.

The dispute is over how long that 1 second actually lasted, I believe.

Agnel beasting.

Lolchte didn't even medal. Why was he being hyped up, or are his main events yet to come?

And how are they going to decide who gets silver?

Oh come on, this is getting ridiculous. They're still reviewing it, the Koreans still haven't accepted the decision ? I'm sorry, I can't tell if she should've won, but at some point you're just a bad loser.

I'm sorry if her hopes and dreams of four years are holding you back, man.

Every Olympics I get into Swimming, but have nowhere to watch between each Games. Wish BBC broadcasted more swimming inbetween Olympics.

You're a bad loser if you complain after you exhaust the due process. That hasn't happened yet...

Unless you're not really the loser...
