'Olympic bus' crash kills cyclist in Newham

A cyclist has been killed in a crash with what police are describing as an "Olympic bus" on the border of the Olympic Park in east London.

The man, believed to be aged 30, was hit just before 19:45 BST at the junction of Ruckholt Road and East Cross Road, Newham.

Police and an air ambulance attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

The crash happened close to the Olympic hockey centre, velodrome and Paralympic tennis arena.

The collision is being investigated by the Met's Traffic Investigation Unit.

GAF, I have a confession to make: Every time my country finishes 4th in an Olympic event, I immediately start rooting for one of the medalists to test positive.

Is this normal, or am I just taking this way too seriously?

Google.

For your lazy bum: highest medal count for any British Olympian ever. 1 behind Redgrave on gold counts though.

Not lazy, just efficient. Why would I bother going to google and possibly have to go through a few profiles or other stories to find what I want when I can just ask here and have all the info in seconds without having to leave the volleyball feed for practically any time?

Is there a way to just watch the volleyball games, as opposed to some of the other sports? It's one of my favorite sports since I used to play it but atm I'm at the mercy of whatever is on NBC.

It really wouldn't have taken you longer than 30 seconds to figure it out.
