As a keen kayaker, Great Britain's domination of the Canoe Slalom is my favourite moment thus far.
Yeah, that one was a surprise and I felt sorry for the guys that came in 3rd. They seemed to take it really badly.

Is today pretty much the end for TeamGB medal chances?

Not being a medal-whore, but I find the events much more interesting when I know that we're at least competitive/in the running.

Think we have a 100m freestyle swim coming up where we stand a chance (not sure on that) other than that I think that's it

Our ladies are playing Belgium at Hockey at the moment, which we are quite good at.

A boxing fight with a questionable outcome...well I never.

Boxing is my favorite sport, but damn if it's the dirtiest sport in existence.

You sort of expect it in the pros, but why they can't clean up the Olympics.. its so bad.

When you count double digit lands for a guy, and he gets like 3 points in a round.. it's hard to watch.

Such a good badminton match, too bad the BBC commentators were total shit. Like listening to two fanboys of the Chinese player gush about him and ignoring the opponent. "It's not a question of if he's going to win, but how?". Dude got pushed into third set and still had a hard time winning the game and only in the end the commentators properly woke up.

afaik there's a special high speed camera for the judges.

Yeah, people need to stop assuming the blurry shots they showed on replay were what the judges were using to make their decision. You couldn't really tell who was in front with what they showed on the public feed, with the blur and bad camera angles. The judges might be looking at much better images.

There's more rowing and cycling coming up, also good chances in equestrian and sailing. We're the best country in the world at riding around on stuff :p

The GB target is 8 medals for the athletics.

4 in Beijing.

In terms of the cycling, in Beijing we had loads of silver and golds in the same race, hence why we got 14 medals there. This time they've limited it to one nation per event, so we're only expect 6 - 10 medals. How rubbish! (talking about velodrome cycling only)
