I can't watch this match with that idiot Gimmelstob commentating. Every new thing he says is even stupider than the last.

Does anyone think it's funny how the live stadium announcer says on thing and then the broadcast announcer seems to talk shit about it in the archery? maybe I'm just imagining

Out of curiosity, is there a reason why the US basketball team chose a college basketball coach (for a team that has a lot of NBA players)?

(Not knocking the guy -- he's doing an amazing job -- just curious why they didn't automatically use an NBA coach)

I have no idea what's going on in the sailing. It looks like a complete mess.

It's quite compelling once you get used to the fact the camera angles can't show you shit about who is exactly where.

Anyway, apparently Ainsley only needs to beat the Dane to get gold. If Ainsley gets 1st and the Dane gets 2nd, they'd be tied on points, so I assume it goes down to who does best in the medal race to settle it.

might not be allowed to plus they got other shit to do like preparing training camp, scouting, preparing rookies and shit.

probably pays nothing and no real honor in winning it? but i don't know just speculating.

He's better than most of the current NBA coaches. Also, international basketball follows slightly different rules from the NBA.

Even if he manages to push the Dane back into 3rd place in this race, I still fear it's too little too late for Ainsley by the end. The Dane looks firmly second-best at worst, and Ainsley needs him to be worse than that.

Actually, they're level. The final can just be a straight race, winner takes gold.
