sure it's no doubt better but I find it hard to imagine a deck that wants both halves or wants the land enough to work for it.
It's a may, so you're not really working towards it, it's just a bonus.

Could I make a dinosaur commader deck out of this set?
Bought the vampire commander deck and I feel like I want something with big monsters!

1st and 3rd (if you can buff it) seem really good with repeatable damage sources.Engrage cards
Ranging Raptors / Walking Ballista ramp?
Yeah, walking balista seems like it is going to be an auto include in the dino decks.
As long as you get all three out with 2 counters on Ballista...

I mean Ballista plus that Dino is certainly good, since it means all your other creatures get 4 +1/+1 counters every turn (you and your opponent's turn), but it isn't infinite or anything.
Legendary Creature - Vampire Knight
Vigilance, Lifelink
Tap, pay 7 life: Destroy target non-land permanent. Activate this ability only during your turn
4/4
Not infinite but it would let you play out 6 basic lands with the rapter.
No, if you have a ballista with two counters you'd end up getting 2 lands from that dino (and a dead ballista).
Legendary Creature - Vampire Knight
Vigilance, Lifelink
Tap, pay 7 life: Destroy target non-land permanent. Activate this ability only during your turn
4/4
Arguel's Blood Fast - 1B
Legendary Enchantment - Rare
1B, Pay 2 Life: Draw a Card
At the beginning of your upkeep, if you have 5 or less life, you may transform Arguel's Blood Fast.
Temple of Aclazotz
Legendary Land
(Transforms from Arguel's Blood Fast)
Tap: Add B to your mana pool.
Tap, Sacrifice a creature: You gain life equal to the sacrificed creature's toughness.
I guess this is why you want to be gaining all that life with BW.
Makes for a really good commander too.
Has this been posted yet? Im on mobile:
Ayli is probably the better commander for this strategy.
That armour design is hideous. Yeesh.

That flavor text... could we be getting a bat-god in the second set??
Does anyone have a clear schedule of what to expect when from Hascon announcements for MTG? The site itself is a mess.
the land you get from it is terrible. The front is just a cheaper erebos/greed
I'm really kind of surprised that Enrage triggers more than once. I would've expected a "if it isn't enraged" kind of clause.
Bob isn't in a ton of different decks. The only major archetype that specifically features the card is Jund. Natural Order is a weird example since it's only played in Legacy Elves. That choice of cards is a little funny to me, that classification seems really implicitly clear to me and I'm not sure how to explain why. I guess again the fact that Bob is in a ton of different decks while Ravager is seen as specific to one archetype plays into it for me.
Re: Scapeshift, part of it too is looking at what spells have made mythic in the existing Masters Editions. There aren't a ton total but most of them are hugely destructive, produce major board presence, or generate a ton of resource value. The only one that's kind of in the same neighborhood as Scapeshift is Natural Order, but I think getting a creature from your library directly into play has a much more obvious direct utility.
Rules question: if you're blocking an Enrage creature with multiple creatures, would it trigger multiple times?
