Great chapter to start the new arc, and what better locale than taking place at the beach. Some parts were hilarious and Rin looked cool there in the oceanic moment. Renzo made me laugh much as well.

I'm guessing the 2ch rumor is true based on this chapter. Not only did the "ending" not resolve any plot conflicts/loose ends, but it created new ones by showing off the "Dragons". Still, I don't see why the series needed a "renaming/relaunch". Unless the new series starts off at the new continent and there's major character changes, it just seems abrupt.

This was way better than Part 4. I dont know if its me but I found Part 5 fights the most brutal yet.

It operates on a strong implication that Manga is inherently superior than western comics or that Japanese people invented to concept of using sequential images accompanied by text to tell a story. It's written by people for whom English is the first language, aimed at people for whom English is their first language and Published by people for whom English is their first language. And yet everyone involved thinks it's a good idea to make people read them from right to left.

You know if you think about it, the more Chad does shit in the series the better it is.

First two arcs: Chad was a core side character, best two arcs in the series
Hueco Mundo: Chad tagged along, but faded out. Quality of the arc went into a decline.
Fake Karakura: Chad wasn't there whatsoever, a complete turd.
Fullbringer: Chad was involved, start of the arc was good. When Chad went away, everything went downhill very fast and became the worst closure an arc had in the entire series.

Chad holds Bleach together.

I liked it better when it was the 2 guys working on it and it was more of a crazy trip of 2 weeboos in Japan experiencing/doing all sorts of crazy shit, humor and gaming meta-commentary plus flowing like a strip similar penny arcade, etc.

One of the guys left due to creative differences, his character in the comic wasn't as good as a result plus it turned more into a manga of the shojou/romantic comedy type . The crazy shit wasn't as crazy anymore and the humor was sapped out imo.
