The end twist was nice, though I don't like how the old principal was set up just a few chapters ago before being put in the main story.

For comparisons (just for fun, they don't mean anything) MHA vol 1 was about 70k week 1. Promised Neverland vol 1 week 1 was a little under 30k before having huge growth.

Probably a good chunk. It looks like at its peak a Kuroko volume would sell over 400k week one.
