I like the cooking and food porn parts though.
I mean, seeing a naked girl and a gorilla in the water is funny, don't get me wrong, but still. I'm just tired of teenagers with big boobs :lol

Kono S wo Mi Yo! Ch 155 (END)

Oh god, this ending. So...wow. It's kind of table-flipping but deserved too. Shiiiit. At least some series don't finish with a happy ending.

on HxH

Ant arc is excellent conventional shounen but I don't think ti's the best HxH arc. Auction is definitely the best.

Wut?

I can't think of any "conventional" arcs in a shonen manga that make me feel conflicted as to who I should be rooting for in the end. How often do you see the good guys
want to continue the fight
when the villains
want to end the violence and find a more peaceful way to coexist

Soushokukei Ism 1-5 (END)
I can't handle all of these Perfect Shoujo Males.

Short romcom featuring FeMC and a student council full of fruit loops. Got a good number of laughs out of me, which more than compensated for its short length and the weakness of the romance side.

Conventional in the sense that it's mostly fighting and a bit of powering up. Also, the villains were still villains until right at the end.

Otogi no Machi no Rena chap 1 - 5
Story of a high school girl girl which has horny fits
which cease when she masturbates for example
due to having neurosyphillis being possessed by some kind of spirits that look like ferrets with antennas, which come out of her private parts (which is kind of gross when you think about it). Oh and they also help her when she's in a pinch (like when she's about to be run over by a bus or sexually assaulted - but not always, how convenient) and they multiply.
It's clearly smut, has enough blushlines to compete with Kingdom Hearts Nisekoi and the characters seem to have no nose which kind of annoy me.

I had some trouble understanding everything I read, but maybe it has something to do with my blood alcohol level last night which incidentally also might be the reason I decided to read it in the first place. Well, now that I'm in, I might just continue to see where it goes.

It's like a hot dog compared to things like JoJo, Fullmetal Alchemist, One Piece which happen to chili cheese dogs deluxe.

It's like driving a Prius when you could be flying a fighter jet.

Really, it's nothing more than standard. Sort of like a listening to a CD player when you could be using an iPod with a mini amp and $300 cans on.

It's like kissing your cousin when you could be locked in a closet with Jennifer Love Hewitt circa 1998.

Sure hits a lot of things that I like, does a lot of things really well. It's a great example of possibilities by... well, being really well done.

But do I like it as a manga? Nah.

Chimera Ant was 133 chapters, the first 60ish chapters the ant's are clearly the villains, and then Komugi is introduced and the Chimera Ant King begins to have his way of thinking changed. When you get about half way though the arc when the main cast charge the base they realize in the "worst case scenario" that there was someone else in the building, and by this point the King has already given up on fighting. For point of reference Worst Case Scenario was chapter 266, the arc itself didn't conclude until 318 almost 52 chapters later.

It's a close call, she only missed him by 12 votes.

Pretty sure every girl voted for Levi though, damn.
I know, I did write down the numbers of votes. Still, he's nowhere near Mikasa if you ask me and I'm not even hating on him. Oh yeah places 11-20 if someone is interested

11. Ymir/Irvin
13. Petra
14. Bertholt
15. Nanaba
16. Mike
17. Connie
18. Auruo

I'm pretty sure I remember Meruem telling Netero (well after chapter 266) that he planned to only allow the most worthy humans to live on in ghettos, or something like that. He was definitely not looking for peaceful coexistence
until he realized he was doomed to die.

Pretty sure that was correct.

If Bleach wasn't a shonen and Kubo did focus a bit on romance, Ichigo would have tapped that a long time ago.

Too bad he has the romantically oblivious syndrome that most shonen MCs have.

I hope Kubo trolls the Rukia fans by making Ichigo end up with Orihime. The rage that would follow would bring down the Internet... well a ton of forums and 2 chan maybe lol.
