I'd rather see him team up with a god tier writer and watch the manga of forever come from that union.
I'm not well versed in the realm of manga writers so I don't really have anyone in mind when someone says "good manga writer". It's a nebulous idea that has no meaning for me whatsoever.
So I'll just focus on the art and hope the writer can think of interesting things for Murata to draw.

I had no idea Murata "designed" Dust Man and Crystal Man from MM4 and 5 respectively. Boss as fuck.

Yea but thinking about it we said the same of Oh Great and look how that turned out. They found the one guy who could tell a story more incomprehensible than Oh Great himself.
Maybe team him and Murata up. That way we get the good art that Togashi's story deserves.

I liked HxH but I wouldn't want to read another manga by him. He just makes stuff up with no rhyme or reason like Oda does.

Togashi at his best is barely competent and he's just gotten lazier and worse over the years.
There was a manga that got translated with him as the artist a month or so back. No one understood what the hell was going on. I don't think anyone bothered to do any more chapters.

Yea another manga that just got serialized and its apparently even more batshit insane than Oh Great's own work, plus its that way from the very beginning.
I think its called Biorg Trinity or something like that
Don't know... i think his style is good and "universal" but fair enough if he isn't good enough i'll gladly take Battle Tendency's Araki (that's something i would like to see :lol).

Togashi at his best really isn't anything special at all. It's not bad or anything, but I definitely wouldn't want him drawing ALL manga.

Ahh an eye shield character, guess ill read it after I finish monster.
Its hard for me to go from contrasting manga like that. Had to wait for a few days to feel like reading 7Seeds after catching up with HxH
Which is pretty much in line with Oh Great's work. I've learned that if you're going to read an Oh Great manga, be prepared to not understand what the hell's going on half the time.

Young Sinbad is so cute. And this situation will not end well.
Man... Tenjou Tenge and Air Gear started out so well... and then turned into incomprehensible bullshit during the last couple arcs. So annoying that he went off the deep end just to one-up some incredibly impossible arcs. But his character design is pretty solid.
