I'm thinking the same thing. Read through the first volume all at once, want to do the same thing with v2. I'll probably just reread the entire thing once it's out.

So basically a prequel of the anime, which is pretty cool.

Nice way of setting things up and rather like the action going on. Not as stylish as the anime but still pretty fun.

Basketball crazy guy meets a girl who changes into a guy when she plays basketball or something.

Uh, yeah, it's something. I guess this will also have romance as well.

Anyone else here like Yasuhiro Kano's work? He does a great balance of romance and comedy and is good at being serious in his one shots. I love his art too. I loved all of Pretty Face. Kagami was a nice short love story. The loop one shot was great.

I think it's such a shame that he doesn't really have any long running series.

Pretty harmlessly fun series. It's always funny to see strangely human aliens
I'm betting for a twist à la Eureka seveN or Alpha Centauri though
. Plus the main character's always in a swimsuit, a good point.

I like him alright, Mx0 and Pretty Face were fun and Harisugawa was not bad either, just a little bland maybe. But yeah, Loop is actually my favorite out of his works, I wish Shueisha would let him doing a darker/seinen story.

I'm a sucker for out-of-the-norm love interests and/or protagonists, so the the guy looking like he never missed a workout is something of a plus for me.

It's a shame that the art quality is so inconsistent. Sometimes it's incredibly nice, sometimes just doodlings

Everyday I read my books for work, from 8 am to 8 pm, relentlessly, so when I come back home, I don't want to read and would rather stupidify myself in front of the TV or playing a video game rather than read some more -_-
I used to read a lot as a leisure, it's a shame -_-

I guess I should read mx0. I was a few chapters in but the quality of the images were really bad where I read them.

Abrupt ending due to cancellation aside, if you don't find the idea of a blaxploitation manga about a heavyweight boxer killing some man-eating KKK members with his double barrel shotgun and finishing them off by PUNCHING them in the FACE with his silver shooting BLASTER KNUCKLE then you're either a member of the KKK or dead inside.

Let's be honest here. The author could have stopped fucking around with the plot in Mx0 and actually advance it in the 10 volumes of time he had.

I've been buying it, I'm on volume 7 and I feel like there are too many pages wasted on stuff like the gender-bender pool episode instead of focusing on advancing the plot.

I guess I could try doing a daily retrospect of manga that I've read in the past...I dunno, my interest in actual manga itself is dead (as is my love for comics). I'll touch upon it sometime in the future, but for now my steady dose is just Big Three every week until I hit "it" with something.

Ore no Ushiro ni Tatsu na!! 4 and 5

Conclusion to the main story was alright, just another kidnapping which they could have some other crime take place but funny end in the hospital.

The oneshot with the older brother harboring a secret activity that he loves to do alone in his room at night was funny and really got intense once the younger friend got involved. Liked the few days later stuff.
