Regrettable Heroines Chapter 3 (Tachibana Omina)
So I've been reading this series for a while, not just for the porn factor, but I actually like Tachibana's humor. Dude can write a good physical gag panel (pun not intended).

Give me that reaction shot. Slower paced than I wanted, but I don't mind. This is like the Royal Rumble, its fun trying to see where everyone placed in the game as much as seeing who is the overall winner.

I have never watched Elfin Lied. Heard lots about it though. The summary made me laugh.
As for the cheese issue, I happen to like Ricotta when there is a small amount. But if you put too much its bleh! Now I'm very hungry and have to get food lol.

Taichi: mad swag, had a gf just for the laughs, learned karuta while lacking any kind of support from his parents, started from the bottom, true husbando, better va, so handsome
Arata: 'gifted,' born to play karuta, and that's like it - possibly the flattest character in the series next to Chihaya herself
Taichi: as complete and developed a character as you'll get in Chihayafuru, which isn't saying much but it's still better than nothing

i personally just liked it for the crazy violence and turned my brain off during the story stuff ( especially when the manga side takes over since the anime finished telling its side)

Well if only they'd translated it faster, story is finally starting progressing in the more action oriented direction, but then again people bored with the academy setting probably already dropped it by now.
There should be a cover for the 6th volume tomorrow or on Saturday, plus the images of the tokuten paper extras (MangaOh said they're reprinting v1 and v2 extras, might snag those as well). I still don't get who the blonde is on the latest Comic@Bunch cover cause it doesn't quite look like Helmut? Speaking of Helmut, I'm still tempted by that print but it's 13500 yen for A3 size...

Taichi is sort of a hardworking person, but Taichi is also a loser. Not just a normal loser, but an unrepentant one, and a sore one to boot.
He's not able to achieve anything and that's why he sucks.
Arata is a born winner. That fact alone is enough to make Arata better but, in reality, there is another, more important reason. He's so into Karuta that he has no time to ever defile Chihaya, while Taichi would defile Chihaya at the first occasion. This is enough to make Arata the best character.
Add to it the eyeglasses and the darker background and you know who's the king here.

The blind training made me think of Ginga and kick-off!!, while I can't believe Macchan still let Takumi make fun of him so easily.
With Kasano back I'm expecting some interesting development in the next days of the training camp.

Everyone seems to dislike Yuri Danshi, mostly because there isn't much yuri I suppose. lol
Her stories are all "the same" (inasmuch as all yuri stories are the same), but I just enjoy her particular style. There's a nice balance of angst and happiness.
Yeah, I would be interested in reading it, but it seems nobody wants to touch it. Is Uso Kurata a woman? I thought I heard somewhere that Yuri Danshi was semi-biographical, which makes it disturbingly hilarious if true.
