Souma has to bribe her with shameless manga just to get cryptic one-liner advice on his dishes. And she's been presented as an unbeatable prodigy. I predict at least 100 more chapters before he even gets a shot at challenging her.

I guess this is just the end of the arc and Soma then gets sent to a different restaurant run by of course, Shinomiya, who has decided to open a Tokyo restaurant. I can only imagine Megumi gets sent to a Hinako restaurant :lol

This continues to feel like the endgame. I should know better than to doubt Komi's ability to undo anything that feels significant or game-changing, especially with season two of the anime debuting in a month, but...how does he get out of this without Chitoge winning? (Not that she wasn't always destined to win.)

father steps in, actually asks if she loves him, she says yes, father lets her stay, she passes it off as doing saying it since claude was there, now living with raku hijinks

is my guess

Hisako = Hishoko

Her name (like a lot of Soma names) is a pun on Hisho, which means secretary. Alice is calling her "Hishoko" to further make fun of it.

Its kind of like how Nikumi's family name is "Mito" ("Meat") but her nickname is "Nikumi" ("Niku" = meat) Basically her name is Meat Meat.

I'm going to have to look up all the other characters with names that have double meanings now.

I knew about Nikumi's but none of the others. Guess when I do learn about these, it'll be easier to remember names.

Honestly, we are being unfair to Erina most of the time. She's a tsunojo character with a huge gap of status (and ability) that introduced very early. It's clear that Erina will be an upfront character in the future, but her personality and position makes it difficult to show more of herself at the current plot/position of the manga when even Soma couldn't win against Akira. The way how the author handle Erina isn't the best, nut being much better than your stereotypical LNs trash where supposedly a character of the same archetype were brought down to the status/level of the protagonist from the start.

Recent chapter shows it very on how her personality started to appear. She's just really lack of character dynamics due to her position.

Not that I'm Erina person or something, Tadokoro is still in my heart, but seeing the recent unfair attack to Erina character seems unfair.

Unfortunately Raku complete lack of awareness is enough to justify Chitoge not winning at the end of this arc.
To be fair he'd probably do the same for any other girl.

She just needs some friends. The author's even showing us this since she doesn't have many people to lean back on, talk with, or express her feelings (like when she was envious that Alice can freely cry after losing). I don't hate her, but she's not my favorite yet. Just waiting until she gets her arc or when people catch up.

I know that Erina at some point take the stage, so my wish for Tadokoro is that she stays relevant when this happened (unlike Nikumi). Though from many evidence, especially Director's secret boner, Tadokoro should stay relevant for many times to come.

The only other girl that might have had a chance was Kosaki, but I think that ship has sailed.

Marika might get a "real-fake" wedding if her disease ended up being terminal, but that's the only situation she'd manage to get Raku, and even then it would be for a very short time.

Rich girl goes out to the country to live by herself with her twin servants. There, they hear a story about a witch and she gets saved by a pretty boy from her past.

Nice setting, the characters are pretty nice. First seems like girl wants to be stronger on her own, but wonder how pretty boy fits in all of this.

Whenever I start losing faith in Nisekoi by all the mediocre filler chapters, I still think the author has it when he writes stuff relating to the plot or character development (Ruri x Shuu chapters are still the best). Looks like the dad's going to intervene at this point. Was hoping it'd be a little later. Romeo and Juliet arc had Chitoge realize her feelings for Raku so I hope this arc ends up with Raku realizing how much he cares for Chitoge.

I know the odds are against this because of all of the chapters in the past year, but I still hope for it.

If nothing comes from these current events in Nisekoi they should import Akane in for 10 chapters. By the end of those 10 chapters, more progress would of been achieved then the previous 90 chapters.

Was falling behind, so I didn't get to reading this until now. Seeing Miyamura being bullied because Toru was thinking he was the one planning on giving him sweets was funny. Out of the two girls, I still think Toru's going to go with the girl in the glasses. It's just easier to see that pairing.

Toriko needs to appeal to the female demographic it seems

Seeing as (no offence to the males) they're are the backbone of fan art/ fanbase propaganda for a series (as in producing forms of media or other creative mean for it... not as in debates, reviews and generic amv)


funnily enough you'd think a series that are a mostly a bunch of dudes would garner interest with that gender.... I guess its the art
probably to muscular and goofy for their taste



I guess having that and a good anime to relate too would've made the series more popular.... oh well too late now

I honestly don't know why Toriko is a thing. It looks like a nightmare turned into a reality. I'm sorry for the readers that enjoy it but I could never get behind the art. At first I thought it would be like Jojo's but it disappointed me greatly.
