Gokukoku no Brynhildr 138

Eh, reserving judgment on this development. I'm in favour of anything that obstructs the seemingly inevitable Neko route, but Kazumi is still the 2nd worst choice out of the main party.

I know next to nothing about sumo, but that newish sumo manga is good to me. Dudes talking about fighting spirit and shit. I don't see it running too long because of the setting, unless they did a timeskip or something, but I'm enjoying what's here now.

Sports manga can last a looooong time since the author can just come up with more and more tournaments.

Not this...why does the author always give the nine arts a free pass? He is easily one of the worst characters in the series.

The Breaker: New Waves 195

Well it was obv he would get away somehow.
Haven't really been thinking about baldie so that came as half a surprise though.

It's a Korean battle/shounen manwha. The MC is going to go through ridiculous amounts of shit and only come up on top at the end and in the least satisfying way compared to what he's been through. Be warned.

Chunwoo's too beast.

So, regressing a lil' bit: Was it implied that Kansung's life could be saved so long as he didn't overexert himself? Old man's a good guy. Even if he can't continue to practice martial arts the same way, it'd be a shame if he was killed off; especially since Kwon had to go.

I have started to notice this trend, along with the prominent bullying across manwha of this genre.

S'up, Korea? :I

Netgame no Yome wa Onna no Ko ja nai to Omotta?

I want to like this, but my lack of experience with the MMO genre(couple of months with FFXI is about as far as I allowed myself to go) and the bland art are preventing me from doing so.

And Nekohime is obviously the teacher.

Cross-Post from the other Thread:

We know now who's animating One-Punch-Man!

Hm, sounds like it might be worth watching then.

{NSFW) A cow's daily life P(ShindoL)

This is educational...

PETA should start using this, more effective than any ad campaign I've seen.

Vice prez fanservice was overdone for me. But at the same time, it was a necessity for future plots points.

That sounds crazy, but it's true. lol

Vice Pres fanservice actually made me feel disgusted. Which is a great accomplishment considering how good she looks otherwise.

Prison School
read the fisrt 80 or so chapters
the story is actually pretty neat, so much that I think it could have been better with less gratuitous/unnecessary fanservice

Oh, that's how we call it these day ? ( ^_^)
I flipped through a recent issue and... dear god in heaven. I'm pretty intrigued by the feedback you guys make on this book but I don't know if I will be able to concentrate on the plot.

Even though Fugo calls it fanservice, and technically the drawn art is fanservice, Prison School comprises of stories about the extreme idiocy of teenagers. Underneath the surface there's also a self-awareness of what kind of story this is, and Prison School laughs at the rest of the harem romcom/dramas out there, because each panel of boobs and panties is a challenge. After all, those manga have tried to hide their basic function of fanservice bullshit under some story pretense; here the author has text bubbles issuing straight from tits and other places. It's not the VP that's talking, it's her boobs, right? You're not actually looking at her character. Because some readers aren't really here for the plot.

Except in Prison School the plot is even better than the fanservice, so in the end you're not there for the T&A, you're there for what's going to happen next? What crazy shit will these idiots manage to do? That's the point where you stop and think, how did this happen?

Stay Gold 6
Finally after all the tears and no speaking arrangements a day alone gets everyone talking to each other and more. Of course they wouldnt continue on their same ordeal on the birthday. And what a glorious birthday present it was. Loved the kiss and the promise for more in the future. Though we would only have got the one way back in a few previous chapters but they did it after worrying somewhat. I hope the extra chapter has a bit more, or maybe a future volume would. They are such a nice family I loved from start to finish. Hayato is amazing.

You guys are too quick to give 9d the win. I bet they'll have Shioon stand back up even with everything broken. He's that kind of person, the way they've built him up.

J no Subete (end)
Excellent conclusion to the at times tragic life of J as he went through both series. Really it is one of the better series out there that follows the life of a character who seems to struggle with being able to fit into the environments he is in due to his upbringing and terrible childhood at times, but also just coming to be himself around others. It was sad at times that even as he got older he still had to endure some terrible thoughts of being unwanted but thankfully he had someone to support him at this point in life and save him from himself. Loved the happy ending and a bit more. They might as well have got married.

More should go into their character design thoughts.

I'm really annoyed by how slowly Amazon Japan adds new manga volumes to kindle, so I ordered I Am a Hero Vol. 16. Grr. Dead Dead Demon's Dededededestruction's second volume isn't up, either.

Hmm, I don't know if I'm warming up to the "eating" thing but I wasn't as disturbed by these chapters. The sugar idea is quite nice even.
Otherwise, the author evidently manages to humanize ghouls by taking a peek into their day to day lives, parenthood and all that. Not that big an achievement but solid nonetheless. I'm a little more wary about the handling of the other side that is presented to the reader at the end. Seems a little easy to present nice ghouls and follow it up with baddddd humans.
I'm speaking from a writing point of view, the actual result is enjoyable and the title strong point in my mind is that at this stage you can't really guess where the author is going.

Seems like the usual case of a new ebook volume only coming out once the next physical tankoubon is released. Japanese publishers are still somewhat behind the curve.

Oh trust me the Author doesn't make the Ghouls and Humans seem black and white, rather he makes both sides have grey areas. Which in my opinion is one of the strongest points in Tokyo Ghoul. Each side have their own reasons and in the end there really isn't a truly muh evil side.

It's just for a day. Poor Chitoge lol.

And finally the main story is moving with Onodera finding a piece of the puzzle.

...sigh. Yui finally does something and it's to stop Chitoge from trying to make some progress after the spectacular blow up last week. Meanwhile, plot at the Onodera home.

Not even that, though. It's months after the physical release. I don't get it.

I think that was supposed to be a fanservice panel...? That wasn't really a good one. lol

Also still thinking that Onodera is the promise girl, but of course she'll still lose.
Hurry up Chitoge, you only have a year left.
