Why is a thread title change punishment? lol

Do you believe in the Devil? I believe he walks among us.

It honestly depends how popular the others are.
52-56Does anyone happen to know the average length of the episodes? Is it like 42 minutes, 50, or something like 56?

Awesome, thanks! They've said each one is between 52-58 minutes.
I just hope they won't stick to original plan, which is 4 shows and then Defenders. Because at this rate it would mean we won't see S2 of DD till like late 2017/early 2018.
The recent rumblings suggest they might try to squeeze couple DD seasons before Defenders. Hope they go for this aproach.

That unfortunatelly won't happen. We're be lucky to get the next one late this year.I thought the Marvel Knights shows would be released 3-4 months apart with potential for them being annual.
I think the general "plan" is just that they want all 4 shows before Defenders, it doesn't mean that all 4 have to be released before any of them get another season. There are probably a ton of crazy logistics involved, but each show has different cast and crew, and different showrunners, so as long as there's money flowing I don't see why they can't make another season of Daredevil while also making the other shows.
If Netflix is happy with the result of Daredevil, season 2 could definitely go into production before Iron Fist even starts. The way I see it, "Defenders" is basically the Marvel/Netflix Avengers at street level, so it wouldn't be surprising if the first Defender gets another season before it happens, that's what happened with Iron Man 2 after all.
Changed to stop derailments even though it has the opposite effect.Huh. What the hell happened to the thread title?

Is the Kingpin even going to get physical? I will be disappointed if he doesn't actually put paws on people.
Problem with him wilding out in this is that Vincent D'Onofrio is nowhere near the right size to be as threatening as the Kingpin we know, it would look kinda silly to see him fight like he can in the comics.

In the comics he also was able to fight Captain America to a standstill at one point. I'd be really surprised if he DOESN'T have a physical confrontation with DD at some point.
That small sense of humanity permeates the series on every level, particularly as its titular hero stumbles through crime-fighting without a billion-dollar murder-suit, or clandestine government agency backing him up. Weve heard producers talk at length about the evolution of Matts ninja duds into that famous red suit, but that small bit of grounding makes every fight sequence seem that much more brutal, even atop stuntwork on par with Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Matt never moves so super-humanly cartoonish as to take us out of the fight, yet still never falls victim to that old stuntwork trope of taking on one bad guy at a time. Every hit follows up with a seamless calculated move to stun the next most immediate threat even a second longer, while Matt himself seems exhausted in momentary respites from the action. One early sequence may yet rival True Detective for sheer choreography across a single take, all with nary a digital effect to be seen.
And if that werent enough, Marvel fans espousing Loki as the movie empires sole successful villain will eat an Infinity Stone at the unveiling of Vincent DOnofrios Wilson Fisk, every bit the timid child and terrible monster DOnofrio says in interviews.
So does Kingpin actually have super powers? It doesn't make sense that he can toss around so many super heroes otherwise.
Yeah, I'm really curious to know how it'll all play out.I just hope they won't stick to original plan, which is 4 shows and then Defenders. Because at this rate it would mean we won't see S2 of DD till like late 2017/early 2018.

I love that the new title will cause more off-topic posts because of the confusion. :lolJust another flash?
Wut

I don't understand this mentality at all, and can't seem to see what is so cringe worthy about references like that.I think the tones might clash too much. Pretty much the only bad thing we've seen from Daredevil so far was the whole "maybe if he had robot suit or magic hammer" line. It was cringeworthy.

Comic Kingpin would get his shit pushed in by Cap in 2015. Cap has been written to be way stronger today than he was back then.
Man, I just watched the teaser for this show and it looks like it might actually be a good TV show and not a guilty pleasure.
Yep, so nothing like the DC shows on CW.
Kingpin being able to go toe to toe with Spidey is pretty ridiculous.

Welp, the title change might have been my fault. I pushed a snowball down a hill.
It's okay though. The mods are softies they'll change it back in time for the premiere.
