Wasn't the title 'Legally Blind'?

It was, but then the people posting here just couldn't see what they were doing to the thread. They were blind to the consequences. So the law had to be enforced. I'm not saying I'm the kingpin behind what happened with the title, but we're just trying to discourage daredevils in here.

Is the Flash OT the one where we lust over the main character's hot secretary or the one where we think the guy with the yellow costume is badass?

I'm actually very sceptical he'll be anything more than a poor man's HAL 9000. I know trailer's not the best to go off, but so many generic yawn lines.

MCU films have a problem with villains anyway. Even if they get the best actors, they're often unable to capitalize on that in the runtime and they usually feel wasted. It's highly unlikely that Ultron will be anywhere as developed as Kingpin unless the series drops the ball, given the advantages of 13 hours over 2 hours.

It's the one where they snarl at anybody who points out the idiotic writing.

Thanos has... what... 3 minutes over Ultron, so here's hoping ;)

And I've already heard loads of buzz about D'Onofrio's portrayal. I just love his delivery, it's so staccato and labored.

"It has to die to be... reborn."

Dude stop they already took Legally Blind from us

I don't think you can do a straight comparison to Kingpin and Ultron, they are both villians yes. But from different classes, genres, can't think of the right word. All you need from Ultron is for him to batshit crazy, not batshit robot/computer crazy, but batshit human crazy. He is a crazy human os running on robotic hardware. That is what makes him great and fun, and you don't need a whole lot from that.

Kingpin is nuanced, rational, methodical, and that plays out better in longform, But I might just be rambling

I'd think it was people getting confused because of the red costume but he doesn't even have that yet!

I wish we'd get details about Iron Fist soon. I wonder when casting, etc. for it will trickle in.

Shouldn't you also add a 'spoiler tag until ...' like is done for House of Cards? What is the standard for that? Or can we post without spoiler tags here right from the 10th?

Probably get Ironfist stuff when Luke Cage starts filming later this year for obvious reasons, like we didn't get Luke Cage casted until Jones started filming for obvious reasons.

I wish I was into his portrayal as much as everyone else seems to be. I realized the other day that even though I don't even like '94 Spider-man, that kingpin is still my definitive version. I still think I'm going to end up loving the guy when the show gets here, but it's an adjustment.

Most likely, yeah. Just a bummer we have to wait so long, it's my 2nd most anticipated of the four.

Do the
Born Again
storyline justice and there's no way Kingpin won't be the defining villain of the MCU. He's might be the one TV character I could see entering the movies, specifically a Spider-Man film.

I loved dramatic British Kingpin too :)

God, the effects in that show keep getting better. So impressed with how they render speed in that show.

On topic, really pumped for Daredevil. Just remembered today that there's just a week left, and we'll get the full season on the first day! HELL YEAH!

So you'e saying the thread had to be reborn. It was a beautiful piece of work, you pretty much signed it.

Is the Kingpin even going to get physical? I will be disappointed if he doesn't actually put paws on people.

They'll probably build up to it at the end. I assume it'll be a lot of Daredevil beating up random thugs and ninjas the rest of the time.

I could totally see Kingpin and Daredevil being in Spider-Man. They're very connected.

Here's my dream for how they adapt the comics:

S1: Mostly Man Without Fear, then transitioning into early Miller and a little bit of pre-Miller stuff.
Karen leaves at the end of the season.
S2: Introduce Bullseye and Elektra. Focus on the triangle of conflict between them and DD, with Kingpin pulling the strings.
Keep us informed on what Karen is up to. She should have small appearances throughout and return near the end. Bullseye kills Elektra at the end.
S3: Born Again.
Incorporate Karen's death and Elektra's resurrection into Matt's fall to make him even crazier. Kingpin is at his most vile this season both with Matt and his general operations. Ends on a relative high note with Matt getting himself together.
S4: Waid's run. Ends the show on a lighter tone built on Matt's struggles. Don't drag it out till we hate it. 4 seasons is good, he can continue to appear in Defenders/etc.

All of this takes place with extra character building on the other Netflix shows, Defenders, and Spider-Man movies.

He only does it as a last resort. The guy's nature is delusions of eloquence, then blames failure/superheroes for forcing him to become the thug he actually is. He's a really fascinating character in that regard - the dude would love to run for office and have legitimate power, but he's stuck in the gutters with the dregs.

It's why Dark Reign/Siege comics bug me. Wilson Fisk would've fit that role a lot better than Norman O. Just stick Fisk in an Iron Patriot style Iron Monger costume and presto - the guy who destroyed Daredevil with ease is fucking with every superhero for kicks.

There is a real lack of Bendis in this post. I am just curious to see how long it will take Matt to be outed to the press. Urich will probably work it out by season 1, the thing is how and when will everyone else. I think Matt will be outed this year cos of Civil War.

Yeah, why are we being punished because some idiots keep bringing up other shows?

What, why was Legally Blind removed?

EDIT: I see, a whole bunch of off-topic DC TV show discussion. That title change is actually pretty clever.

I just hope they won't stick to original plan, which is 4 shows and then Defenders. Because at this rate it would mean we won't see S2 of DD till like late 2017/early 2018.
The recent rumblings suggest they might try to squeeze couple DD seasons before Defenders. Hope they go for this aproach.

It honestly depends how popular the others are.
