While I do not disagree with that, but they could easily give PC owners more options to have better graphics. Look at DA2, that game had DX11 support and a highres texture pack. This game, nothing. I really wonder what the Mass Effect team does with the original textures. I mean, they have to downgrade the original highres textures to get to the console lowres textures, no? Why not include the orginal highres textures as a optional download, like DA2?
Lift + Sniper Rifle w/ High Explosive Rounds = Mercenaries in Space. You still throw people into the air and shoot them when they are up there. It's pretty clear.

Because the texture artist saved over the original high res textures and didn't want to do the work to return them. Like ctrl z.

From what i've read of the endings i like it. Its pretty ballsy from Bioware.
The original texture art wouldn't be usable for any platform. It would still need to be converted to usable high res textures. I don't know how time consuming that would be, but they would also need to balance it with load times.
I wonder if the Bioware social site was brought down because of everyone bitching about the ending(s)...
They're adding in forums people cant post on unless they own a copy of the game.
Do player stats carry over from ME2?
If I start a fresh game vs ME2 game save, will stats be equal, or will I be stronger with my ME2 character?

Im not too happy with this, but its best I could do quickly. Idris aint easy. They dont have the proper shade of brown and none of the noses are quite right. Same for the facial hair. Ive never enjoyed making ManSheps. Im simply never happy with how they turn out.
The Quartermaster or the Shuttle Pilot, cant remember which one. They mentioned it in one of the Normandy Walkthrough vids.
I got five hours into ME for my perfect jusththewayiwantit run leading up to ME3, and I couldn't do it. I'm soooo tired of that game, so I found a perfect save on masseffectsaves.com. Everything seemed fine, started ME2 for the first time since I finished it back in 2010. Feels really good. However, turns out that the player saved borefest Alenki. I'd rather have the space racist, to be honest. Anyway, turns out there's DLC that allows me to pick and chose from some motion comic stuff to generate a savegame? Fuuuuuuuuuuuu

This was probably already asked but here it is again.
I beat Mass Effect 2 when it came out. I have the entire squad survived in the missions. I was around level 28 at the end of the game.
I've read that if you are level 30 in Mass Effect 2, you can continue to level up till 60 in ME3. Will I be able to do that even if I'm 28 or will I start from 1 in 3?
What should I be doing to get the best experience for the third? I haven't been following the media lately so sorry if this was already asked before.
Thanks.
This 360 disc-swapping nonsense has me considering going with the PC version. How does one convert 360 saves to PC saves again?
first you load up witcher 2. and then you play it.
Disc-swapping "nonsense"?
Would've thought there'd be a few reviews floating around by now. Just a little bit worrying.
Thanks, EC.
Yeah, that's what I said. 4 swaps in 10 hours? trollololol
The combat in ME1 was truly awful. Good thing the story and introduction to the universe was so good. It's what makes me like the game almost as much as ME2. Almost.
Yet the guy who mentioned 4 swaps in 10 hours also said he hasn't had any swaps in hours 10-20.
I swapped once in my do everything 100% play through. I guess I was lucky?
TheWhich I find ridiculous, since the game is not even officially out yet.
Finally downloading Lair of the Shadow Broker. It better be worth it.
It's better than anything else in the game.
Everyone keeps saying that. I'm quite excited to play it.
Edit: Does anything carry over from Shadow Broker to ME3?

The only thing that tempts me with the PS3 version is the fact I can play online with my friends (none of which game on the PC), and use the controller. So you were considering getting the 360 version over the PC version?
Trololollo?
Or crazy?

Just FXAA. I'll be forcing MSAA.
