I might be in the minority but I really loved the Omega DLC. It actually reminded me of Lair of the Shadow Broker quite a bit ; a self contained story with interesting character interactions. It felt fresh. The dynamic between Aria and female turian was more compelling than a standard character stuff in a ME mission for sure.

Combined with the fact the multiplayer was so damn good (especially for being a simple horde mode), I have high hopes for what the new team can do

If they're announcing it at this E3, that pretty much assures a holiday 2015 release in my opinion. 18 months to promote the game. E3 2014 you get a teaser. VGAs

you get a short trailer with snippets of gameplay. In the months leading up to the next e3, you have the Game Informer cover with a info blow out. Followed by E3 2015 demo with a release date. And quite possibly a multiplayer beta leading up to the Q4 2015 release. /end random speculation

Though, if I was a betting man, I'd say it get's delayed until Q1 2016.

Fantastic news.

If by some act of god this was exclusive to Xbone........I would be devastated. Mass Effect was the only reason I bought a 360 last gen, and when it came out on PS3, my 360 collected dust before I gave it away. Not buying an entire console for one game again. But it's one of my fave IPs of last gen, so yeah....it would hurt. Though I don't think EA is stupid enough to go that route considering the install bases for the consoles currently.
