Lol. Its just a gif to show some retrofuturistic weapons. Granted the previous movies were better but not a lot of gif out there that are not Will using the mind eraser thing. I enjoyed the movie though. You could use a better gif for a representation of the franchise.
Because this movie is...freaking terrible, cheesuz.
The developer said to Jaffe that Sony was happy with the early sales and that it's the best selling game their studio ever made, and that if for now we don't get Days Gone 2 the reason isn't sales. But, the developer said to Jaffe the game underperformed at full price, which makes sense as the launch product was kind of broken. Sony can't have been happy with the metacritic average either. Though I'd give the patched version, esp. on PS5 much higher. I personally liked every second of it.
No, it's only a weak fake. Bend is working on a new IP instead.Days Gone died for this, am sad
The rumors were that after DG, Bend did help ND with the Faction games and an Uncharted spin-off while they were first pitching DG2 and later a new IP created by Bend. Later Hermen confirmed Bend is working on a new IP.Most disappointing thing to me about this is this most likely means those rumors canceling or putting Days Gone 2 on hold are true.
Fuck MiB and fuck will smith too
Games with awesome visuals and mediocre or slightly bad gameplay traditionally are big selling games. Games with mediocre or slightly bad visuals and awesome gameplay traditionally are niche games/'hidden gems' with low sales.Do "core gamers" value gamings single greatest strength (interactivity) more or less than its aesthetics?
The idea of writing a game off without seeing it seems so bizarre to me.
Semantically MIB could be a new game ip.The developer said to Jaffe that Sony was happy with the early sales and that it's the best selling game their studio ever made, and that if for now we don't get Days Gone 2 the reason isn't sales.
So I assume maybe there's no Days Gone 2 right now because they think it's better to do something else now (like a new IP) and leave Days Gone 2 for later (they wanted to use UE5 for it, and won't be ready until late this year or next year). Or maybe they want to stop having white heterosexual male protagonists, who knows. Or maybe the new studio leadership wants to make their own IP.

So Bend isn't working on MiB, they are working on a new IP instead.
No, it's an existing IP that already got movies, comics an videogames.Semantically MIB could be a new game ip.
This garbage movie is more in line with the quality of games that Bend puts out.

Huh? Its nothing similar. Sony owns MiB. Sony doesnt own Spiderman.Columbia Pictures has been a subsidiary of Sony Pictures since the late, late 80s. All of the Spider-Man movies were produced by Columbia Pictures so think of it similar to that.
Oh man I didn't even realize that. That makes this rumor seem even stronger. Gah.Huh? Its nothing similar. Sony owns MiB. Sony doesnt own Spiderman.
It's kinda weird cause MIB is a Marvel comic so I think it's more likeHuh? Its nothing similar. Sony owns MiB. Sony doesnt own Spiderman.
Technically aren't the aliens immigrants in MIB processed on earth? That doesn't work with the conservative view of how to deal with refugees/immigration.I was thinking about this earlier - wasn't the whole premise of MiB to stop illegal aliens living on Earth? Can already hear the articles by Polygon and Kotaku now alluding how it's exactly like our everyday lives and all those poor refugees being turned away at borders. All these article will be heralded as really 'deep' and 'insightful'.
It's not a Marvel Property. For example "Topaz is not a wholly owned Marvel character. She is a character as published in the Ultraverse, a line created by Malibu Comics, as a creator-participant superhero series imprint. Which means that Marvel, which bought the publisher, has to pay extra to use the characters outside of comics – indeed there may be a belief within the publisher that they have to pay however they use them, which is why they have not appeared in print for decades." Men in Black is also from Malibu comics. Sony got the rights directly from the creator. It's kinda weird cause MIB is a Marvel comic so I think it's more like
- Sony has either first option rights on gaming merchandise on Spiderman or just been licensed right on gaming merchandise on a case by case basis
- Sony has full licensing right on gaming merchandise on MIB.
