I got a Quest 3s a couple of weeks ago. I ditched my projector and my other displays for it after using it for a day or two.
This is honestly some sci fi level bullshit, feels like Minority Report and SAO came to life. Laying in my bed, having 3 virtual screens in front of me. as large or small as I want them, anywhere I want them. It's tough to explain this experience really. It's a bit like with touch controls for smartphones, or 3d graphics for vidya - you kinda need to experience it yourself.
I wasn't nearly as impressed by any of the VR Games (RE4, Metro, Beat Saber) as I am by the general computing abilities. Obviously it still has quite a way to go (Passthrough especially needs to improve) and there's lots of setup and hoops to jump through in order to set it up like that, but that's exactly what being an early adopter is like. Flat displays honestly feel primitive to me now
