I think it was that Driveclub wasn't released in a state that was functioning as advertised. MCC got a free pass on this because it's an old IP.

I used to love Halo. Halo 3 is probably my favorite game on 360, but I'm burnt out on it now.

I hear you. I burned out on Halo 2 a long time ago. I never even played 3's campaign (or owned a 360 for that matter) until I picked up MCC
I used to love Halo, but then the MCC came.. all those great games shoved into such a glitchy package, it was a blood bath..

I knew someone would say this. Since I am a reviewer, I'll tell you a little secret...
The online servers were working perfectly before launch. Reviewers did not have the issues players had at launch. So... they basically reviewed the version people are enjoying now. There's no big backlash over this because a lot of people don't know this. But I do... because I actually played it before release.
I was skeptical though so I told myself I would try it out a full week so I can test the experience after launch. Seems I was one of the few reviewers that did.
I'm still disappointed that they released the game like that. You'd think they'd put a lot of time and work into it but its still messed up.

Yup. I'd be fine if online was shit before release but reviewers played it without any big issues.
Some reviewers were actually complaining the game had no open world like Forza. Was just disappointing.
To this day, I still wonder why Driveclub was slammed like that.

I can't wait to play DriveClub when I get my PS4. I saw it at my friends house with the weather patch, and wow does that game look incredible. Most graphically impressive next-gen game so far (untill The Order 1886 releases). The sense of speed is also great and if you have a good surround system it has the best sounding cars in any racing game. That game is just car porn imo, allthough the physics are obviously not realistic (and it's not trying to be). It's basically a spiritual successor to Project Gotham Racing.

Yea, that's what I'm still waiting for too. I'm more into arcade racers (last one I played was Blur) but I wanted to play the PS+ version to see if I'd like it.

You know, I never wouldn't have made that connection if some jerk didn't feel the need to point out his phallus obsessed mind's observation. I still dig the sneaking suit, but I couldn't see myself wearing it when fatigues just seem more appropriate for most missions anyway, kind of an immersion thing for me. Either way, I bet we get some other badass clothing. My biggest fear is that we get paid DLC costume packs ;(

Unrelated, by I dodged a nuke today. I was supposed to see 50 Shades of Gray with my girl tonight. BUT- The theater near my girl's house has been closed for a week due to weather conditions. Double edged sword though... I we had to call the whole date off because of how bad the roads are. Now I won't get to see her until I get back from Georgia :/
