Can someone clear up the whole box situation. From the pictures i have seen it seems liek the SE EU box has tha game box inside a slide. The slide has the same box art as the game cover itself but it has a black header. Is this true for the UK SE, or is this some sort of Kuwaiht bonus deal?

I get the feeling some reviewers still can't cut the PS3 games some slack, like they're still bitter over the console's early problems (like high price, not much of worth etc.). I bet they're reasoning "hell I paid 600$ for this shiny consoles, and I expect the games to be utterly flawless". Not saying MGS4 doesn't get some valid criticism, but everything in this topic (from the people who have played the game etc.) points to this game being nothing lower than a 9, convoluted story or not. The double standards with other games is really strange. *GTA4 I'm looking at you, and other games I won't mention out of fear of backlash*

They gave LO an 8 as well, and 9 to Blue Dragon, I don't think GameTM had a problem with load times, or story... or.... well I can't imagine what standards they have for PS3 games.Guled said:

I've had a few subtle things kinda hinted to me, but nothing major. Still haven't watched the "Courage is Solid" theatrical trailer either.

Let me get this out of the way because this is said to often and it doesn't make too much sense in light of things, very few developers actually go about making their games lazily. In fact they nearly all work their butts off for their projects given the resources of skills, time, and budget. Equating the probability of efficiency and coding skills with somehow a 1:1 ratio to laziness to developers is bullshit.

I've been examining act 1 in detail on Big Boss Hard difficulty, gonna take my sweeeet time this time, it sure is a load of fun :3

TTP, did you play the game in Japan in March, or at that european play through?
This is not that hard to understand. It's not worth it to me to have a handful of useless save files just to mark chapter beginnings. And really, because I don't want to. I don't like managing save data, it's not fun for me... it's a hassle. I'd prefer a menu to select chapters with in the game, and if it's not there, oh well. I actually doubt people will be loading their old saves to replay anyway, given the (LE Guide spoilers)
massive amount of unlockables that require multiple playthroughs on harder difficulties to get.
