Question for Gamestop employees: I've got a friend who intends to purchase the 80 gig bundle via that Walmart deal. He has the LE reserved and says he's going to trade in the regular edition at Gamestop and just pay off the difference for the LE. Now, he's telling me that Gamestop will offer him $60 for the sealed regular edition of MGS4, in essence, he'll be getting the LE for only $25. I found this to be completely unbelievable but he insists it's true. Can anyone clarify?

offensive? depends on the contextual situation. you should ask kojima. My opinion is that he even didn't understand the joke.

Is it safe to say this game by far surpasses everyones hype for MGS2?

I didnt think it would ever happen but to me, it easily does. I think to me its because of the awesomeness that was MGS3, it really solidified the series...or maybe its cause of GAF...most of us didn't have this outlet back in 2001, but its great to share your hype with other fans.

What day is it...the 4th? FUCK ME.

MGS2 was far more hyped than MGS4, at its time it was the most hyped game in history.

I went to my local GameStop today to pick up my pre-ordered LE strategy guide, but no dice. The clerk said they're not getting the guides until tomorrow, but they might not put them out--he said they might be ordered by corporate to keep them away until June 12th. That's what I was told.
