Unfortunately, you can find copies of these games all over my local Gamestop.

ah but the point was, that you wouldnt be able to RETURN it as new. gamestops only sell those as used. i was telling him to lie and say that he lost his receipt, but he cant do that if his game says do not resell.

and why the fuck is the limited edition still not sold out on konami.com? im cancelling my preorder, theres obviously no demand for this thing.

Yeah, the Motorstorm case has "Not for Resale" written on it like five times. Trying to trick an employee to try and return something like that would be impossible. They do accept trade-ins though.

That was indeed very good, but some minor faults

-Metal gear didn't started on the PS1
-They spoiled metal gear solid and sons of liberty.

I posted this in the MGS4 midnight launch thread to no avail, so I figured I'd try my luck here...

Anyone wanna help a fellow GAFer out? I'm hoping someone would purchase a copy of the LE for me and ship it out to Australia. I'd purchase from GameStop.com but they want $US40(!) for shipping which is ridiculous and trying to find a place that still takes preorders for it here is virtually impossible. I'd be happy to pay around $US100-105 including shipping, which means you'll also be pocketing a few extra bucks for the effort. I can also pay straight away. Pleeeeeeeeease!!! :)

Uhmmm...the game costs more than $93 with taxes here in Chicago. So, I wouldn't be pocketing anything. If I helped, I'd end up spending money out of my own pocket to ship.

Must be one hell of a connection, 'cause I can't see anyone parting ways with a signed MGS 4 LE for a measly $100 premium. If I was lucky enough to get a signed copy, I certainly wouldn't let it go for $200. I wouldn't sell it, but assuming I were to sell it, you'd have to pay a hefty premium.

Don't worry about it man :3

No story spoilers at all, very easy to just copy and paste what I said anywhere on Gaf. I will post pictures, and a video of the bootup perhaps?
Then once thats over, I will be playing it for the next 10 fucking hours. I WOKE UP TOO EARLY :(
Man, this is such a horrible wait.

As far as spoilers go, there are some gameplay tidbits, but they only show sections of the Middle Eastern locale and all are areas we've seen so far. Most of the areas I can recognize are simply from part of the Midtown Maelstrom map from the MGO Beta. It's pretty clean. The weapon customization looks absolutely off the hook. :D

I won't dare watch it so how many different parts there are? And what parts of the guns can be changed? Grips, rails, logs, machinery, add-ons??

Dude, trust me. That video is literally spoiler free. If you played the MGO Beta, you've seen everything in that video. :p

If you want more info about it without watching, just read the 3 page IGN article. They really do give a good extensive description about the customization system in the game.

Just watch it, there aren't any spoilers unless you haven't seen any media on this game. It's by far the most unreal gun porn/customization I've seen in a game.

That automatic sniper rifle looks bad ass, but then again so does everything in that video.

I was shitting myself, completely, clicked buy it now without thinking, then for some fucked reason, I couldnt remember my paypal password. How arse. And i had to pay instantly. I almost had a heart attack.
