SO
Can I get locked out of the true ending? Please spoil. Im at 38-40 unlocked with 3 gold side missions, and I did everything else so far. How do I avoid screwing myself over?

I'd like to know this as well.

So I just updated my mother base with another facility, it said it will take 1hrs to complete. Now is that 1hrs gameplay time, or can I just wait 1hrs in the real world and it will be built?

Playtime.

what exactly are key dispatch missions? Are they the ones with a yellow dot next to them? or the ones with different emblems next to them?

there's probably a side op in the same area that's overriding it from appearing. I don't know what the priority list is but you need to clear the side op that's in the same zone
That's what I figured. I skipped a lot of the early blueprint ones. I'll try that later. Thanks guys!

Mission 31

Wat do? It takes no real damage from my rockets

There's a missile launcher vehicle all the way down the mountain (not sure what those are called), you can spam missiles at pods on it's back and by the time it does the red mist you should have go it below 80 percent.

Its weak points are the white tubes on it's back and near it's belly. It doesn't do that much more damage but it's noticeable. Expect to resupply a bunch of times. Also keeping the chopper alive helps, even if it has base weapons. There are also a few tanks on the road but you'll need to use them fast before it uses the mist attack which destroys all of them, not to mention direct fire.

Okay. First major gripe.

You're having some down time going through Side-Ops. You're going through the world passing camps. You've just completed a Side-Op and need to get to a delivery point to move to the next S-O which is miles and miles away. You accidentally get the attention of some troops as you pass by. No problem, right? You'll just keep going, the delivery you're heading to is still a little distance yet. You arrive at the delivery point and get in your box. You can't be delivered because if any camp is even on fucking alert, not combat alert, you're fucked. You'll have to take out the entire camp before you can be delivered. That or head back to your chopper and redeploy and waste GMP.

Also what's the best way to gather fuel resources? I'm going to need another 300k ish to fully upgrade mother base at this point and gathering it by hand isn't going to cut it. At what level does the Base staff start mining and processing resources at a non-terrible rate? I'm at 35 and they mine/process about 2000/1200 at whatever the tick rate is for that.

I have devolved to praying to the fuel gods for sustenance at this point. That shit is nowhere to be found.

What are delivery points?

I'm probably the most pathologically cheating-averse person on this forum and even I think I'm an idiot for just not using a trainer at this point.

I've shown all the
memento photos
to the person I need to show them to, but I still have a ???? one in my library. How do I get the last one after
futball
?

Huh just found out you can shoot out power lines, they will break up realistically depending where you shoot, and it seems like they would electrocute anyone that touches them.

You just
go to MB with quiet in the chopper while it's raining. The thing is going when the weather like that kinda just happens.

That didn't really work. Meh.

After playing what I did last night in this, going back to it tonight made me go 'hmm...I'm spent.' I dunno if it was just the section I played, or if I'm done with the game, or if I'm just tired/bored.

Last night I played Missions
11 and 12, but not 10

So FINALLY had enough free time to finish it today. Took me close to 35hrs and only at 60%. Right now i'm very mixed.

pros
- Gameplay is amazing. I just wish there were more key moments.
- I surprisingly loved the tapes.
The Truth tapes are fantastic.
- Buddy system is fun. Didn't use D Walker once though. Loved DD.
- Cutscenes are top notch. Best i've seen in any game. Wish there were more.
- Game is gorgeous. I would kill for a MGS3 remake with this engine. Even with the dated gameplay.

cons
- Tv credits is so fucking dumb. Kojima was obviously playing too many Telltale games.
- Story is easily the worst of the bunch. It definitely has it's awesome momements but
the core story doesn't connect shit. The Tapes is the only saving grace. Skull Face is the worst main villian by far.
- Boss battles are
garbage. Wtf happened? Did this man forget what he did with MGS1-4?
- No
time jump or Hayter. Fuck you. :(
- The last episode is god awful. I refuse to believe this was the original last mission.
Replay the whole damn thing and end it with a twist that was predicted literally when first announced is...ugh so bad.

Probably comes off like i hate the game but i didn't. Personally as a whole MGS4 is the better finale. Even if you hate the story the epicness was there. With that said, MGS3 is still and will forever will be king.

When you interrogate someone and they say a specialist is here, and the map is updated, how do you tell which one it is ? Is it the enemies with yellow dots on them ?

Just lost a bunch of staff and almost 100k all up in resources while offline, from an FOB intruder. Good times.

That's bullshit. See, I don't like this. If you're offline there should be a limit of how much can be taken from you per day or something and it shouldn't be nearly that much.

So,
MGSV, The Witcher 3, Bloodborne...
Anyone else thinking Bloodborne?
In my opinion bloodborne is the best of those three only because MGSV story sucks, while bloodborne has an awesome one and awesome gameplay, but MGSV is tons of fun to play

Holy fuck.

I haven't played any MGS games since 2004. I only played the first 3. Never beat any.

I am about 2 hours in to this game, and...

Holy fuck.

Wait, you can be delivered outside of Mother Base? What? Gah, the things I wish I'd known... I've just done about 20 side ops in a row
trying to unlock fucking story missions and cutscenes... bullshit...

Well shit. I was so happy when I found a container with 7500 fuel only to realise it was unprocessed.

God damn it.

There is so much f2p type bullshit in game but with the real world money options. Not that I would actually pay money to buy resources but it's ridiculous.

You can be delivered outside Mother Base via chopper! No joke. I was once transferred to an unconstructed medical base. The helicopter just hovered above where the helipad was supposed to be.

It's really not that worthwhile because of what you quoted. I find hitting a checkpoint, esc->return to acc much faster 90% of the time, even with heli flight time when you return. The spots looks like the ones you can use Mother Base, but you need unlock them by going to each one and taking the invoice next to spot. Also
you get a blueprint for a new type of box when you unlock all the fast travel spots on a map
.

game will beat this out of you. i don't know how it is possible to play pacifist like other games. it basically forces you at times to be action hero. I hate it.

Only thing I'm forced to destroy is helicopters and skulls.

The latter I'm okay with. The former... well, I guess it's hard to fulton a helicopter.
