But you are. The game will throw a tutorial how to build a FOB at some point at you and you can't cancel it. You have to build a FOB. Unless you stay totally offline I guess.

Don't set high rank FOB defense, leave at E-D also putting contracts on soldiers makes them unavailable for FOB defense.

This is stupid advice. When you make it to the end you get 10 soldiers from the whole pool of the player (Direct Contracts nonwhitstanding of course). Put your best soldiers on defense so the enemy won't get to the end. Make them pay with BLOOD.

She's downstairs in a cell on the medical platform. The puppy just runs around the Command Deck.

So I was doing some side-ops(nothing important, just usual stuff) with Quiet, and decided it's time to take a break and come back to mother base. When I came back I was greeted with a cutscene showing Ocelot and Kaz torturing Quite, saying that she is infected?! And Big Boss is acting like he knew about it?!!!!

Okay, seriously what the fuck? I feel like I missed on some cutscenes/tapes or something. They didn't even asked me to come back to mother base. Is that normal or have I missed something?

The worst thing about that scene is that it opens with

Ocelot saying "Are you ready to talk?", and electrocuting her. Then Miller comes in and pours salt water on her, pressuring her to talk. All of a sudden, Ocelot is like "No, she's infected, we can't let her speak!"

I just had to bail from the easiest FOB mission, only one E ranked guard on the platform, because I couldn't find the platform core. It was on the support structure, but I could not find any pathways down to the room. I spent so much time trying to find a way in, but I just went nowhere. >_<

I feel so ashamed.

Quiet is on the Med platform (the main one), and is downstairs right where the chopper lands, you can hear her playing music. Also, nothing really happens when you visit, so you pretty much just stand around and creep on her.

Try going to equip her regular tranq rifle and pressing right on the D-pad when selecting it. This should equip the upgraded version of the rifle with a silencer.

There is a tape with codetalker that you get soon after rescuing him talking about the different strains and it is pretty obvious they are alluding to Quiet. I think Kojima wanted it to be a surprise or expected people to catch on, I thought it was too obvious as soon as the language thing started being introduced but it wa also very poorly done. "Its closer than you think" phrase by skullface pretty much confirmed it for me at that point and since then have been focusing on side missions. I hadn't even got to what you wrote about myself but became clear before the end of chapter 31. Surprise cutscenes are pretty normal once past chapter 31 I have had a crap load so far none to do with what you mentioned.

One of the prisoner extraction missions in Lamar Kluute place is where you need to go. Basically go at night rush in the far left at night and rescue the prisoners. There's three of them with one of the opposite of the base from where you entered.

You can skip most of the hospital if you pause it any time it's non interactive.

The way the game works out if you want inverted y axis is pretty funny.

I don't think the PS4 looks bad at all. But the enhancements on the PC are so much nicer. Not to mention running the game at 4k with all the extra high settings.

Its quite a treat.

Still.. even on GZ, the ps4 version was phenomenal. I just can't bring myself to play it on ps4 now. My copy is still sitting there. While the pc version has 43 hrs of game time.

I believe the formula is something like 10% of your unprocessed materials up to 2500 max every x minutes. The interval starts at 60 minutes and then for every like 12 ranks of base development it lowers it by like 5 minutes or something. I believe my current rank of base development at lvl 32 i process materials every 25 minutes? And I think at max reduction you process materials every like 10 minutes. That is why base development is the number one focus for me, and of course R&D.

I should probably get to mission 21 so I can unlock FOB as I hear you can get like 1k resources just for supporting the defense of someone elses FOB.
