Just follow the footsteps. It leads to one of the trees on the hill if you lose track

More footsteps seem to appear the longer I stay, which is weird. I wandered around until nightfall and went back near the helicopter to see some footsteps where there definitely wasn't any before

she seems by far the most useful to me, so far around Mission 20 or so

she was huuuuge for me during Mission... 19?
the mine/escort the kids
... when the guards started to come after me because
they had noticed the kids were missing
and then the helicopter aggro'ed, and the last 2 or 3 guards from near the LZ also attacked (so... 2-3 guards from the south near the LZ, 3 guards from the north 'chasing', and then also the helicopter lol)... she was huuuuge in helping
keep the kids
alive and also giving me a chance to destroy the helicopter. she must have had 3-4 kills... can't imagine the other buddies being quite as immediately life saving in those crazy 60 seconds or so

I just did mission 41, Eli stole Metal gear and now nothing is popping up, what am I supposed to do now?

15 was easy except for the first guy went reflex on me even though it should have held him up. A for my first try. Does the supply flare limit to A?

Played mission 46 last night which was odd because I didn't have mission 45 until I did a certain yellow side op this morning. I laughed, I had picked it early on but I was half right.
I thought punished snake was a clone

I hope there is one giant cut scene after mission 45 because I feel like there is still heaps to be answered.

There is, but if you're expecting anything elaborating on
the twist from mission 46, you'll be disappointed.

So (around mission 38 question),
I rescued the 5 missing child soldiers that escaped from MB. Ocelot said that Eli wanted to talk to Big Boss but it hasn't happened yet. Do I have to do something or just keep playing story missions? I'm currently on 38.

So I beat the missions where
I rescue Quiet from the base and she escapes after telling the helicopter where to pick me up from and the mission where I find out Big Boss is really someone else
. I don't see anymore yellow missions, does that mean I've seen everything? I still haven't seen the part of the trailers where
Quiet shoots Snake's cigar or them creating Paz's clone.
Are those like 100% completion things or special condition cutscenes?

I'm not sure about either of those you mentioned.
Paz's clone, what, I don't remember that at all
. But yes, you've witnessed all the story content.

If you don't have Cargo 2, I've heard of players getting into a tank and using that to kill the skulls, which would be a way to be able to drive off with the vehicle without needing to bring a rocket launcher or Quiet to kill them. Aggro'ing the Skulls doesn't count as a combat alert so it should work.

Are the tanks in the airport where the truck is, or do I need to the whole thing of trailing the truck as it moves up the map for the tanks to show up?

Just finished Mission 6 (i'm taking my time with this game!) and i'm honestly surprised my rank wasn't that bad considering i took forever with that mission. Got a C rank.

I'm shocked it was a C and not smthg worse

I accidentally read something about
equipping a butterfly emblem
changing how something happens later in the game. I just want to get a yes or no answer whether the game hints that the player should do it or not.

Oh, well, that scene isn't exactly what you think it is then. Hm, it's hard to explain without giving spoilers, but all I'll say is that you need to go to the medical platform on Mother Base and check the upper floors for a door you can open. You'll find the answers there.

The other scene, though...I really don't know. It sounds like it could be from one of the many optional cutscenes you get from going back to Mother Base with your buddy, but I'm not 100% sure.

This is real nitpicky but is there anything I can do about the whole

mother base -> call heli, wait for heli -> get in heli, wait to load into ACC?

If you know you just hit a checkpoint in Free Roam (when things have successfully been extracted to MB is a good indicator) go to the Pause menu and say Retun to ACC. It is automatic.

You can go straight to the ACC if that's what you're asking. It's just in the pause menu, you can do it at any time I'm pretty sure when you're on side ops or free roaming, just not during main missions.

but you can't do it from mother base for reasons

What's the significance of Master Certificates? I think I just unlocked a hidden upgrade to the fulton? What does this upgrade do?
