Here's an easy way to get an S Rank on Red Brass (My own video)
I think I got super lucky with D-Dog's attack, the other guard was going down to pick up his weapon while D-Dog went to get him loool. It's a great strat though, not sure on its consistency... think it depends on the AI but if you wanted to get an S on it and couldn't think of a strat the above should work.

Thats his sneaking mode, but try holding the square button (or X on Xbone) when you're on wheels.

You gotta hit square for it to go faster in drive mode
What did you do to max your bond with her?
I think I got mine on the White Mamba missions.
If one of your FOB platforms has a second deck, you can use mortars on the first to attack an invader without having to stick your head out and use a sniper rifle.
I've only done this a couple times so I can't say for sure if it's worth it. I would just keep a couple on hand.

I've heard that soldiers you encounter rank goes up as your heroism increases. Fulton children and animals for heroic gainz.
I don't think there is a way to specifically get a certain female soldier, they're randomly assigned as prisoners in missions and side ops. I have the blonde soldier as well but she was a shitty drug specialist instead.

I will say that I wish the Mother Base didn't suck ass. It's such a cool concept and it's completely wasted. I want to walk through the dorms and see the soldiers doing stuff. I want to be able to check in with important figures like Ocelot. I want to see troops training on the combat deck, see docs operating on the med platform, etc. Mostly, I want the ridiculous amount of space in between platforms to be removed.
so Mission 4 is bugged for me. I can replay the mission as many times I want, get as many S ranks I can yet whenever I get back to the select screen it'll show up as a - rank. Now this means I'm unable to get both the 'Get all S rank' trophy and the 'Get all key item' trophy, as both require this mission to be S rank. Now the only way to fix this is by restarting, however seeing as I've spent more then 90 hours on this game, got pretty much every mission on S rank and done all the side ops I don't really want to restart.
However, I don't know if Konami is planning on fixing this, and it'll suck if I decide to continue doing the remaining stuff I got left, only to waste my time on those things.
Now what I'm actually wondering is what would you guys do? Also, if I were to put my save file on the PSN Cloud, can't I just keep my current save there as a backup and when the bug gets patched just get that save back?

Not sure if our bond level went down, but last night I was on top of a watch tower interrogating a soldier and when I was done I threw the guard off the tower. Upon impact I was surprised to hear a whimper from down below. After climbing down I found DD knocked out on the ground. Poor guy was standing right under the falling soldier. After he got up I made sure to pet him apologetically. Sorry DD!
I never used them at all. So sell away.

I know it can disable comms, but what can I do to guards with it? It seems like attempting to "stun" them with it just gets me an instant alert.

It is even faster if you just have D-Horse in the road
then Fulton the armored vehicle and shoot the two guards, them book it out of the hot zone.
edit: That is how I did it the first time I played, then I instantly re-did the mission to extract the specialists, which took me a good 20+ minutes and still got an S-Rank.

This game is fucking long. I'm on mission 25 but I already find myself getting a bit bored and not playing it every day any more. Most missions are pretty much doing the same thing. Anyone else feeling similar?

It's a water pistol... you can still hold them up with it I think? I didn't know it could take out comms but you can put out the bonfire barrel things with it.

Interesting strat. I'm sure there's multiple other ways to do it even easier, that's just the strat I thought of and it was pretty funny how it worked out.

If you replay a main mission to extract someone with a special skill do you need to complete it for it to register?
I've bailed out early and despite miller's whining while I was getting on the chopper I got the new skills.
Did this for transport specialist.
