I'm enjoying the game - and the bits of story thus far - but the constant hate the game is getting is making me depressed and start to slow down. I just started Chapter 2 and i'm basically being told by everyone that it goes downhill from here. :/
I think that are further developments of the weapon.I know I'm missing the Bullhorn. I'm not sure about a few of the others, but I've gotten the Giest and Zorn in a side-op or main mission.

Just beaten mission blablabla
I only just realised last night that I can Sell off the resources weapons and vehicles I have collected.
What don't I need much of? I have 2404 precious metals but do I need to keep them? What about the vehicles? Do you ever need to use them for a mission? I'm on mission 13.
Awesome, thanks so much for the reply! Going to make the 100% a lot easier and more fun.You don't have to complete the missions, just quit to ACC and any of the optional objectives you've completed will be saved. Only dying or restarting the mission resets them.
So knowing that, tip: If you have two really hard objectives in one mission, complete one and then quit to ACC so that one will be saved and you can focus entirely on the other one.
I have no idea what to do to start Mission 20.Do I have to talk to Huey in the Battle Gear Hanger and if so, how?
Question about medical platform.I have given Paz every photo and now every time i go to her she has a green book and generally does nothing but just sing.Without spoiler what else can i do there?
thanks
No, you can't talk to him. Everything involvingis placed extremely awkward into the game's narrative. It's presented as if you're supposed to do something, but you can't and never will. You're just supposed to go there and look at the thing, I suppose.Huey and the Battle Gear Hangar
Call in the chopper and go to the ACC to start the actual mission.
is required by the harder Dispatch Missions thoughBattle Gear
So, I've been avoiding these threads in order to avoid spoilers, but I kind of can't believe my reaction to this game and needed to see if I'm alone in this.
Is this game bad?
I'm about 15 hours in, and I realize I'm no longer having fun. I'm a huge fan of the series, so when reviews of MGSV came out from sites I respect, I thought this would be a masterpiece. Maybe my expectations were too high. I don't know. I've been thinking a lot about why I'm not having fun, and I think it comes down to two related things:
1) The missions are too disconnected from one another. The story doesn't bridge the missions. Instead, the story is what happens elsewhere (between missions, in tape messages, etc).
2) Everything you do outside of the missions is tedious. The further I progress, the more time I have to devote to managing my base. I wouldn't mind if it were better designed and more integrated into a coherent whole, but it's so peripheral to the missions and is so incomprehensible in its mechanics and systems, that I've grown to dread spending time with this part of the game.
Am I alone? I really am not looking to pick the game apart. I'm truly heartbroken about it.
Yeah, I don't know what the fuck they were thinking.wow wtf, a 5 mil gmp cap? really?
I prefer the linear 90s action movie structure of previous titles to this open world. I can see someone thinking it's a bad game if they're into MGS for the story (lol) and aren't really into the base management element with its F2P mechanics and timers and stuff. So, I've been avoiding these threads in order to avoid spoilers, but I kind of can't believe my reaction to this game and needed to see if I'm alone in this.

What the hell is it with my soldiers fighting in my base? Should I be worried about it and how do I deal with it? Can't I just throw them overboard as I don't really want to be messing with this type of thing?
Visit MB often and dont be in thw red in GMP / fire the troublemakers / boastersWhat the hell is it with my soldiers fighting in my base? Should I be worried about it and how do I deal with it? Can't I just throw them overboard as I don't really want to be messing with this type of thing?

Do I need to finish episode 45 to unlock 46?
There's no point of no return with the story, it simply puts you back into the ACC after the credits of the last story mission. Can someone give me the low down of point of no returns? I know thatI'm just wondering about how far i should go. I'm in chapter 2.certain characters leave.
See, that's the thing. It's even worse than that. Things like that are very clearly a conscious design decision. Someone decided on that 5 million GMP limit and other members of the team thought it was fine. They weren't thinking

Hey man, war's an uncertain business. No such thing as a low risk/high reward mission. It's a complete waste of time. Not to mention it's grossly underpowered. Check this screenshot I made:
These success percentages are insane.
Go into your staff management. Sort each list by skills. Get rid of your troublemakers.
Visit MB often and dont be in thw red in GMP / fire the troublemakers / boasters
Thanks, I've seen the story scene with the fighting. Didn't realise I was able to fire people, will do that tomorrow when I log in.Fire any people with the troublemaker status (alternatively place diplomats in the same area, but its easier to manage if you just get rid of them all together).
There is also a cutscene of staff fighting, but that is triggered by having low morale/negative GMP.
Visiting the base after every mission is a little excessive. Thanks, I've seen the story scene with the fighting. Didn't realise I was able to fire people, will do that tomorrow when I log in.
I return to the base after every mission so I'm not away for that long, should I be visiting each section of the base and slapping people around or is just doing that in the central section help in all sections?
Is there any point in scanning troops when they're back at base? From what I can tell it all happens automatically when they're extracted from the field.

Just terrible.
That's what comes to mind, but I might be missing something important.100 bond with Quiet, avoid the butterly emblem and complete Side op 150.
If they have high stats they replace the people with low statsWhat happens if MB is full, and I fulton more guys?
is really getting on my nerve. It took me a while to figure out where it was coming from. Any way toQuiet's hummingshut her up?
Give her a command, I think just using Quiet (Attack) to place her in a sniper spot should be enough.
I'm doing side ops listening totapes, and holy shit is this the most asinine, moronic shit I have ever heard. What insane mind comes up with this stuff?Code Talker's
Still thoroughly enjoying the game, but the story sucks big time.
