Assuming Microsoft doesn't buy Sega, and make Persona 6 exclusive.
 
Xbox gets MGS and puts a 60fps MGS4 port on GamePass.

Then gives Kojima an unlimited budget to make MGS6 exclusive to MS.

Kojima doesn't want to work on MGS again. This rumor is absolute bunk and just a copy paste from the PlayStation one. Pathetic.

As much as anyone buying mgs is better than Konami doing nothing with it at this point I don't believe any rumour to do with Konami after the silent hill ps5 exclusive rumor and then mgs 1 remake rumour until it is 100% confirmed I call bullshit on all this

It became clear over the last decade that those you speak of are not in it for the games.
 
I thought Kojima was done with MGS? Anyway, taking the ip out of Konami hands is what matters.
 
This is gonna sound insane, but I wouldn't be opposed to that.

I'm a huge all-time MGS fan, but almost anything is better than Konami.

Oscar Isaac seems like the perfect face too.

Now I'm starting to doubt this. Especially with everything else movie and TV show related Sony is doing with games. Unless MS snatch it up quick before Sony can make a tie in with the movie.

So Microsoft is buying Metal Gear so they can release a collection on PS5 that includes a Gamecube remake Nintendo owns the code for.

Am I following these rumors correctly?
 
Wouldn't have a problem with this at all. Not like we can trust Konami with it now that Kojima has left the building.

Meh big deal. I'm so glad Kojima has finally moved on from Metal Gear games. I've moved on as well. I say this as a huge fan of the Metal Gear series.

There's beauty in finality.

I would be ok with this.

The NEW MS is more open about allowing developers to freely create and Konami doesn't know shit about what to do with that IP.

Any MGS with Kojima is a day 1. I'm fine either way this deal end ups if its true.

Actually played zone of the enders for the first time on PC a few months ago, and it was amazing. Such an insane and unique experience, I would totally love a new episode with even crazier stuff.

Snake's story is over for sure, but that doesn't mean they couldn't go in and have a completely new character ark in the same universe. Raiden would be of course the easiest one to transition over to

there has to be some truth with all these metal gear rumours but yeah i think this aint it. maybe the original rumours about sony doing a remake is true. they were always tight with konami before so i can see them working something out.
 
Are they buying it on a Wednesday? So they would have to publish the MGS collection and exclusive Blue Point MGS remake on PS5?
