Offense and clutch hits. I hope it keeps up.
Hits off the Mets bullpen aren't "clutch". They're pretty much given.
dat sell out
to be fair it's like 37 degrees, during work hours, on a thursday... but still... so sad
Yet Tampa Bay gets attacked for its attendance but people turn a blind eye when the bigger markets do it.
I'm going to the Mets vs Reds game tomorrow!
It's more fun to berate them in person.I'm going to the Mets vs Reds game tomorrow!
Looks like we are going to finally have some offense in this series.
Hey atleast you get to see Mejia live man. But other than that, its gonna be rough.I'm going to the Mets vs Reds game tomorrow!
474 foot banger from Frazier. Damn.
Dammit Jay, what the hell was he trying to do that was holliday's ball
Crazy thing, is that he's always been this way. Its just with Bourjos in the fold, those glaring issues are even more apparent now.
It's not shocking for the White Sox either.
They won it all not too long ago so the thirst should still be there.
yea, and I'm glad Bourjos is here now, unfortunately with Matheny there Jay will always get more playing time than he deserves
I just rewatched the play, and Holliday was pretty much on the path to get it. Jay should go behind Holliday to back him up.....instead, he charges in. Been doing this for years.
I really hope Wong settles into this 2 hole. Dude is crazy fast.
How "approximately" does MLB lift the blackout for watching archived games? I'm tired of clicking over and over again for hours.
I don't know if they've changed it, but I believe it was 1 hr after completion.
Took a break when it was 3-5, came back and saw 8-5!
Nice!!
It will be a judgment call if the runner didn't tag up but I guess all you can do is assume the runner would make it back to the bag before the throw in this instance. It's a head scratcher for sure though. I still don't get how that was a single in the first place lol.Holy shit at this play. Ball off the wall, caught. Now being reviewed.
EDIT: so the ruling is a single by Holliday. So my question is, what if the decision was overturned, and it was called an out had it bounced out of Hamilton's glove? Where do the runners go then?
