Was once stopped on a country back-road by the presence of... something... in the middle of the road. Turned out to be a python slowly eating a goanna. Not quite as big as a crocodile but still bizarrely gruesome to watch. Brings one back to the days before time limits and referee stand-ups. Just pure unadulterated ground fighting. Two enter, one leaves via the digestive tract of the other.

I've seen weidman fight live since he choked out tom lawlor.... But so far that 173 is garbage. Would've been fine with all the filler if Sonnen vs Wand was still on there but to take it off and not replace it with anything that would spark any interest is pathetic.

They turned a pretty big money making ppv card into rubbish...

I know I know but it's Matt Brown. Only reason his "immortal" nickname makes sense is because he lost like 4 straight and still managed to stay in the UFC. He'll never be a champ.

I'm just sick of seeing Brown get this improbable streak and am hoping someone will stop it before our time gets wasted with a Matt Brown title shot.

The most memorable fight are scraps between guys that the audience gives a crap about like Hendo/Shogun, Punk/Brock, Wand/Chuck, Diaz bros etc.

Its hard to get fired up about some unknown joes fighting for 5/5 in the ultimate. Ufc needs to build stars and raise the stakes.

Think my favorite fight from last year was Rouse Tate 2.
