Ted is doing a reverse arm-trap half nelson sleeper from side mount.
It looks like a really complicated handshake/hug combo.

I'm following Jon's logic to its conclusion so that's kind of the point. He puts so much stock in the decision of the judges in that fight as well as the submission loss to Davis that he thinks Gus is a terrible fighter or something. All I'm doing is putting as much stock in Jon's loss to a retired can.
Just pay a visit over to Reign MMA in Lake Forest, CA and you can see this in practice. Seriously, you'll see Mark Munoz, the Ellenberger bros and all the other guys doing bible study and shit. It's kind of a culty vibe over there.
One of my favorite Key & Peele bits.
So Dana just tweeted "Welcome Back Andrei Arlovski!"

Seriously? They need to get Shonie Carter to ref.Joe Silva is trolling right now.
Looks like Andrei's return fight will be vs. Brendan Schaub.
Yeah.
lol I can't think of a has-been that Schaub hasn't fought or called out publicly. Wouldn't be surprised if he called out Cabbage in his post-fight interview.

Dibiase doing Triangle Chokes in 1989
Wonder who was the first to do that move as a submission. Used to be an amateur guard move, right?
It's very legit. Rorion Gracie, founder of the UFC, was the fight coordinator for that movie.Mel Gibson does a legit (leg) triangle choke as we know it today at the end of Lethal Weapon and that was from 1987.
AA is going to maul Schaub, no doubt about it
"One source close to the process told ESPN that Miller, more than anything, chose the Grizzlies because he feels they are closer to getting him back to the NBA Finals than any other team that pursued him, including Oklahoma City."the poorly constructed Thunder letting future Laker Kevin Durant down again too.
I'm literally PMing Heel to ask him to lend me ten dollars. This is a new low.

Silva v Jones Super Heavyweight bout 2015
I asked Lambada in the wrasslin thread about why lariatos/clotheslines aren't used more in MMA. You see guys like Sakuraba do wrestling strikes like dropkicks and Mongolian chops. Is a lariat an illegal strike? As long as you don't hit with the elbow, I can't see why it wouldn't be used more. It's like a wild haymaker, but with a lot more coverage to hit with.
Other wrasslin moves I'd like to see more in MMA: Owen Hart style spinning heel kick, Harley Race style high knee, cross body block, Pele kick, powerslam, vertical suplex, jackhammer, cobra clutch slam. I feel like there are a lot of wrasslin moves that would legitimately transfer to MMA and could be used to much success.
