I remember watching the Mayweather entrance and thinking what the hell was going on with all those people in the ring? That sort of theatrics catch me off-guard now and if anything I'd rather get a more confrontational rule-set in MMA than make the entrance more like an indoor parade.
Though it never hurts to see a fighter walk in like a rock star and walk out after a humiliating defeat.

I disagree with your controller hate and have been getting back into PC gaming myself partly because of the controller standardization. I use big picture mode all the time to play games on my comfy couch with a controller.
I'm just not a fan of that specific monstrosity of a controller.

Okami might have been a bit on the boring side, but at least he's a name that fight fans recognize. He deff has a place in the ultimate IMO. Why not just throw him in to replace Lyoto vs Tim Kennedy?

Big Picture Mode is very intuitive, I prefer its UI over 360 and PS3 for launching games and browsing the store. And SteamOS will just be a streamlined version of Linux. I don't see how that will go bad. Only thing that concerns me is EA and Ubisoft support.

The UFC minimum performance bar has been raised with this cut. Okami was 13-5 in his UFC career and 3-3 for his last six. The Fitch cut apparently didn't make the message clear enough for some guys. Any fighter content to grapplefuck his way to a decision is primed to be cut from the organization at the drop of a hat. Or in Okami's case, a round one KO.

Kevin Ross was on the same card.. Both those guys are pretty good.
